Ok..so I had a similar issue on my M1031 after installing new calipers, pads, etc.
Turns out when I installed the inner brake pad, the adjusting clip was installed in such a way that it held the pad to the rotor instead of applying outward pressure to retract the caliper piston. This is the...
SmokeyDod - I am referring to the mag pickup, not the safety switch. All the safety switches in my truck have been bypassed. Running in N will cause the engine to run wide open as the PTO is not spinning and the mag pickup cant send RPM to the controller...so along that line of thinking a bad...
What symptoms were present with the switch disconnected? My M1031 governor keeps running flat out and wont stabilize or ramp down. I am curious if the pto pickup is the problem or the governor control.
I don't think it is the same truck. The guy in Orlando runs Northside Trucks on north OBT. Pretty sure his truck was setup with two door and troop seats in the rear. Its been a while and I didn't pay that much attention at the time.
Not sure where this truck is located, but there is a guy in Orlando with a HMMWV with at least two different shelters (radio and ambulance)....he was asking around 25k last year for everything. Not sure if he still has it or not, but PM me if interested and I will forward his contact info.
I put 33x12.5x15 on one of my M1009s.

I had some rubbing on the front inside fender on the passenger side. I ended up trimming the inside fender to alleviate the condition. This post suggests the same cut I...
Top front on the IP. If the valley is wet, then your IP is likely leaking. As the diesel drips down the back of the block it can look like an oil leak. However, if the valley is dry then it is most likely your rear main. Factory seal was a rope seal.
left side of the diagram is the standard setup, right side is the M1010.
without photos of your engine, it is hard to say what you might be doing wrong.
Oh, this happened to me once. Not a good feeling especially during a recovery! Green Gem came through for me. Matt sent me a new metering assembly for a few bucks plus shipping.
I have a ground down 1/2" wrench just for this application.
I'd like to learn more about this "smoke cam" adjustment.
