The "tower" that holds the control levers are different between the 2.
The newer A2 trans tunnel is s lot shorter & the ctis valve is mounted to the tunnel/ fire wall (to the RIGHT) of the winch control tower.
Also the pto shafts are different lengths between the A1 & A2's

Correct, the only trucks that came with pto's are the 1031's with the belt driven generator.
I have heard the m1028ff had a pto driven water pump but also heard they had small gas powered water pumps.
I can't confirm (I've never seen one).
