    M1010 Interior Lighting Circuits

I was looking through the 34p and found this. It appears the wiring I am looking for is behind the side panel, probably behind the relay/fuse setup above the driver side wheel well. I wish they had ran all the wires out to the relay/fuse panel. I don't know why anyone would put a wiring...

    M1010 Interior Lighting Circuits

I'll need to check the blue bulb. However, I still need to find the splices to fix the dome light. You wouldn't happen to have an extra focus light you don't want?

    M1010 Interior Lighting Circuits

The "surgical" light is the fluorescent dome light. In the event of black out conditions, the blue light comes on instead of the "fluorescent" light. I am using the dome light switches to try and activate the light. According to the circuit diagram, under normal lighting conditions when the...

Oh no! What have I done? My new M1010

Have you verified the output of each ALT? The lowest I could get a 28v Leece was 18v. I went so far as talking with them directly about the issue and they confirmed my findings.

    M1010 Interior Lighting Circuits

So, in an effort to get my "surgical" dome light working in my M1010; I spent some time pouring over the circuit diagram in the back of my truck. I need help from someone who has removed the interior panels and/or seen the insides of a M1010 box without the interior skin. I am trying to locate...

Oh no! What have I done? My new M1010

Nice! If you ever want to get rid of the brackets to the front of each bench please let me know. The ones that go from the floor to the ceiling. I see your dome light works as well. I am still troubleshooting mine. Also, in regards to your charging setup; the stock setup was [2] 24v alts...

    M1010 - No more DUVAC!!

Sure Power 52210 Battery Equalizer I went with the 100 amp unit and took the last one they had. However, you may still be able to order one from them. Alternatively, you could go with the 80 amp unit which should be sufficient and there are two in stock. Sure Power 52208 Battery Equalizer

    M1010 - No more DUVAC!!

Oh yea - check the TM - there is a wiring diagram for the standard CUCV charging setup as well as one for the M1010. Once you compare both you will see the differences quite clearly.

    M1010 - No more DUVAC!!

The M1010 stock setup is two Leece 24v alternators mounted on the passenger side. The DUVAC is essentially two units, a twin input voltage regulator and a battery isolator. It is supposed to sense when 12v is needed and pulse the top alternator on and off many times a second to create a 14v...

    M1010 - No more DUVAC!!

As with most M1010s, my "shark" had the same 12v charging issues. I tried the wire swap trick and it didn't help, so I bit the bullet and bought a Sure Power 52210 battery equalizer and some auto reset breakers. Yesterday, I removed the DUVAC and the related wiring. I then rewired the top...

Plating M54 in Broward County. Florida

Section 3 starts: "The owner of an ancient or antique firefighting apparatus, former military vehicle, or other historical motor vehicle 30 years old or older which is used only in exhibitions, " I read this as "30 years old or older" applying to each listed item "firefighting apparatus...
