Please educate us here; I read the statute and it clearly defines an age limit of at least 30 years old. If any MV can be titled as an "Antique" in FL regardless of age, then I am going to apply for new plates on my M1009s and M1010!
Vinny - your app sent to Tallahassee only took a week? I sent...
Check your Gen 1 bulb. See this link, bad bulb was the problem.

You should be getting 14v+ across each battery when the system is operating properly.
If the driver side alt was removed and checked, then you need to verify the wiring and connections. Maybe the clip connection is gummed up.
The driver side alt feeds the 12v side of the system and your front...
Monopolies suck! Except when you have Park Place and Broadway. J/K
I am not happy that GL hits us for the extra $60....but I don't see an alternative when I want to register the trucks I buy! For me, its just one more cost I figure in when bidding. I don't think anyone here is happy about 10%...
Actually you could get plates or apply for title with SF97 paperwork at your local tax collectors office.
GL is taking the extra step and sending in the SF97 paperwork to the state and the state sends you the FL title. I can not confirm any change since as far as I know this has been the policy...
Not sure if its right or not, but you agree to it when you fill out the SF97 form on their website.

The single brown wire is depicted on E-11 of the 34 TM. It is part of the diagnostic wiring. I believe the STE-ICE used this for RPM readings.
Rather than rely on a visual check of the fusible link. Use your electrical meter to verify continuity. Looks can be deceiving.
I did something very similar as a test, but it was much too loud for use everyday.
I ended up using the air inlet from one parts air cleaner housing as a second port on my main m1009's air cleaner housing. Pic of the final product attached minus the tubes for cold air.
Good info! I have several different sizes of those fittings in my lube trailer. Now that I know what they are for; it is time to go open the packages and see how I can put them to use!
NO!!
The stock setup has the batteries wired in a series which increase the voltage to 24v.
If you want two batteries, you can wire them parallel: + to + and - to -
If you don't have 100% confidence in what your doing stick with 1 battery....
