Hey doc are those the lights I sold you? If so I will gladly send you replacements bulbs for free, I have extra's. I can also take some pics of how to remove them.
I can answer that, with experience:oops:......IF you over fill the tank and the sun is on it, like said the fuel will expand.....IF you have a NON-vented cap and it seals nice then the fuel will push into the vent and if enough...a nice puddle forms under your truck. IF you have one of the...
Nice trucks the both of them!! I love taking trips in my deuce, but I have to say you are definitely a braver man than I......I have yet to take a trip as long as you just did. I haven't taken any real trips with my deuce and the 5" exhaust I put on.....Did you notice a much better fuel economy...
Boy looks like you have as much snow as I got.......I had to drain and flush my whole fuel system Friday out in my driveway(was only 7 degrees out!!)......D@#M neighbor spiked my fuel tank....no proof it was him but we have been having a small feud for the last couple of months....so put 2 and 2...
I have the diesel heater that should be on the deuce......I have only run it on #2 diesel or kerosene
Before I found this arctic kit, I was originally going to use the gas one as I knew a guy with one cheap....but then found the whole kit.
The horn gets power ALL the time, if you look into the wire diagram you will see it is the ONLY circuit with a breaker.....so even with your power off you should find 24 volt on one of the wires at the horn itself....if not check the breaker.....
That is how I have my truck now, the jerry can on the drivers step feeds my heater, works great and like said they don't use very much fuel per hour of run time so using mine ALL the time it still takes me 2 weeks to run it down enough to have to put more in the can. If you don't drive your...
Figured I would try to help with your horn.......at the steering wheel the wire in there is the ground, so you won't get "juice" there. Check at the horn itself if one of those wires is 24 volt, the other wire will lead through the harness back to the bottom of the steering column.....if you...
I have to agree.....Mike(s)(both of them) are great guys. They have always treated me great anytime I have stopped down there, I usually look forward to stopping in every time I go through Indy.
Personally I like having my winch top plate clear so I can stand on it when doing things in the engine bay......I added mine to the bumper mount plates on either side of the winch and love them there, they add tremendous amount of light and no weird shadows. Plus there is already holes in them...
Doghead will keep you in the right path, but a quick answer to your "why" question......think of it like this....the large wire is a direct connection to your battery, the amount of current that is needed to turn the starter would fry a switch, so they use a relay, and solenoid to activate the...
Here is a link to the thread I did.....funny I just noticed re-reading it that I never put any pics of the heater that does the cab, the one sitting in the engine bay....anyway take a look.....http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?78165-winterization-arctic-kits-install
Also IF you find a...
Believe it or not.......I KNOW 100% sure they made it, I bought a complete kit for my truck......had a 30,000 btu heater that heats the cab, and another 23,000 btu heater that heats the antifreeze, batteries and oil of the motor......also came with all the front blankets(very hard to find) and...
