was looking at them the other day myself, i think they are 6ft wide 14ft long. curb weight 2500lbs with a 8k load cap. made of aluminum. the only problem i see with pulling it behind a deuce is the tongue would be at a steep angle due to it being attached right in front of the axle.
what is an optima adapter? i've got a metal batt. box and optima's in it and i don't have adapters, i don't think. and i like the metal boxes better, the plastic warping bugs me to much to use one.
i figured two were going for just a little more than one so why not, from what i've seen these going for and as good as shape as these are in i can probably make what i payed for both off the one i'm selling. hopefully:grin:
once they were stacked they towed great, didn't really even know they were back there. the surge brakes worked great, they didn't push me at all while stopping. i wouldn't think a 1/2 ton would have any problem.

Ok, so, now how to unflip them without a forklift. Really pretty straight forward. I used my tractor to tilt them both vertical, unstrapped them then used a block and tackle to lower one, then used the tractor to lower the other, Ta-da.
Pointer #3, tie the one you are not letting down to...
It's been a few weeks ago but here are the pics and some pointers to anyone who needs to recover 2 trailers.
1st off DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT, try towing one behind the other as in the 1st pic. Anything over 40 mph and the 2nd trailer became so unstable wobbling back and forth it was literally...
Agreed, If you step back and look at what you get for the $ compared to the civilian equivalent, that truck is dirt cheap. Yet still more than i could afford.
