Hopefully (if I can ever get my brackets) I will be installing my TMAmerica 24v/12v upgrade next week when I get off shift. I like the green alternators.
How does it not fit quite right? I installed a new one on mine a couple of weeks ago and it seems to be too long in the back - no room to pull it down tight with the super rope around the loops on the cab. I wa guessing on how to tie the end off in the tab - actually the only way I could get it...
I read through that thread from 2009 - they said Daniel(hard), Wolfs Den(easy) and Kodiak Rock(hard). There seems to be 2 Easy trails (Wolfs Den and Falls Dam), 3 Medium trails (Saw Mill, Slab Pile, Dickey Bell) and 3 Hard trails (Daniel, Rocky Mount, Dutch John), and lots of GRAVEL roads.
I...
Hey guys, any of you that are close to the area and know of trails that might be MV friendly let us know. The only trail I rode on back in 2011 was wayyy too rough for me to take my Jeep on - of course I went out with the Florida boys! We might even take the bobber out there if we bring it.
It...
That sounds like the type of trails that most of us want to run - not the rocky and real muddy stuff. We need to get a small group together for a trail ride or 2 - do you want to be the leader since you know the area and have been down these roads/trails before?
I just posted links to this...
Just a reminder. If you haven't been following the main thread, here is the link:

There is also a For sale/trade/WTB thread here...
Thanks Bob - we took her out for the maiden voyage today around the shop parking lot after I finished up the rear brake line and bled them. No problems and it drives like a totally different truck (which it is) - AWESOME. It's like gaining 50hp! I shot a short video...
Yeah, I've been doing a little research about the top. Like ya'll said, the 800 series is the same as the M35a2. If the 900s are wider, it couldn't be for one of them - the width is actually the only thing I am happy with!
Perfect! That's exactly what I was looking for. You da man G!
Next question: How would a 5 ton combat wheel (with adapters) sit on the front of a deuce?
Question: M34 rims are offset 2", correct? If I use them on the front of a deuce with 11.00x20s, the tire should be out to about the edge of the fender, correct? If so, I'll take 2 without tires.
So if I use M34 wheels on the front with G177s (11.00x20), the tire should be sit out 1" closer to the edge of the fender? I think I am about 2" in from the edge now.
Thanks guys!
Actually, I'm not a big bobber fan either, but my Brother talked me into it (he is half owner). We liked the original bed better also, even though it is a lot more work! The m105 bed versions would look much better if the wheelwells were larger and mimicked the deuce's front...
We ALMOST finished the bobber! We got the new glass in the windshield and doors, got almost everything reinstalled (all of the lights, mud flaps, top, mirrors, exhaust) and reinstalled the bed. Yesterday, we disassembled the old tires/rims and installed the new G177s (all except 1 and the spare...
