    No special tools needed. It just unscrews. Some PB blaster might help if it doesnt want to go. If it's really stuck, GENTLY use 2 channel lock pliers to unscrew it.

    I'd take the cannon plug apart and fix the bad/butt connected wires. Not a fun job, but easier than replacing all the wires going to the plug.

    lunette extensions

    You need to find on of the pintle extension pieces that the shelter carriers have. That puts the pintle aount a foot farther back. He gets them from time to time.

    101's do have sideboards. Not much other than some electrical will transfer from 101 to 105 and back. The pintals are different too.

    You dont put the bows into the stake pockets of the BED.. They go into the sideboards.
