I did that about 7 years ago when I put a 6.2 into my one M715. It was a Lakewood too. I kept running across slave cylinder bells and didn't want that. I forget exactly now...but I believe I had one or two factory bolt holes line up and then redrilled the large ear on the transmission to line...
Lots of Allisons reside behind the Detroits...
I had once set an 8V71T up on a stand to run. Batteries, small 12V fuel pump as lift pump pumping fuel to mechanical pump on front of blower. Make sure you don't just have a threaded hole into the head at the fuel outlet. There is a special...
This has been asked multiple times. The five ton winch can be rebuilt with the pinion flipped so it can be driven on the same side as the stock deuce winch. I installed a V8 CAT which was shorter than the multifuel and moved the radiator back by about it's thickness and was able to mount the...

It was kind of a segway into the discussion of no profit or yours for people that don't know.
In ride quality, now granted I'm sorta skipping a generation, but comparing a deuce to my 931A2 tractor is wide span between them. The deuce seems more underpowered, more notchy in shifting, braking is okay but not super confidence building (except my Hydro-MAX in crane truck :) !!!) and...
So seriously...you just admitted to accepting compensation for the haul. You cannot accept ANYTHING in return. My buddy was one of the PA State Police guys that looked for these loads for a living and LOVED, LOVED, LOVED some guy with a commercial load claiming no compensation. His best was a...
