Great idea!!! Wish I had found it sooner.:(
Looks like the filter head has been discontinued and is no longer available. I'm looking for a suitable replacement now...
Anyone try anything like this for the secondary filters?
Will definatley report on the boxes contents, if its still there.
Will a spare tire off a deuce fit these trailers? If so will bring an extra just in case.
I pick it up tomorrow, cant wait!!!:D
Thanks for reply, but when you say later truck, you mean newer? This is supposedly a '65 model. Although it did go through the depot rebuild in the late 80's if that matters.
The span appears to be the same. My other truck has u bolt handle, and bolt pattern looks the same.
Just to make sure...
Finally got around to putting winch on today, and I have a couple questions.
The tie down/handle does not fit anymore. The holes on the frame are blocked by the extensions. Is this normal? Should I drill through the extensions or just leave them off? All other holes line up so i'm sure I have...
I had the same problem. We must be some of the few with different water pumps. Since I had already opened it anyway I went ahead and put it in the hole above, its also 3/4 npt (see pic).
Have read about failures putting it there but I had no other location. If you screw it all the way in it...
Sad thing is they were slated to be mothballed just before Desert Storm, when they showed there worth.
There loiter ability and time on target is amazing. A titanium "bathtub", and a nose gun that can actualy slow you to stall speed if fired to long. Gotta love it!!!
Hate to bring up an old thread, but does anyone want to make an educated guess as to what micron level 2 pair of jeans would filter to?
Also these filter bags sound great, how many gallons before they need to be replaced?
Either of these sound perfect for my situation. Wanting to start...
19 days later I got my Paid In Full invoice!!!
Was not expecting it this quick since its my first EUC... got to be a record!!!:jumpin:
Will be heading out to get it on Monday, just hope the brakes/wheels arent locked up and it is movable. Plan to get it off post and give a more thorough...

With a shipping weight of 24.6 pounds its gotta be closer to a case, which is a great price if it is!!!

Thanks for all the info everyone!
So the 1/2" bolts are 10.25" long, and the 5/8" bolts are 10.5" long.
Can anyone with a winch truck tell me if 10" bolts will work for both, or would they be to short?
Finally getting around to installing my winch and have a question. Are the long bolts that go through the bumper really necessary or could I just use short ones top and bottom? I'm sure there was a reason for them but was it just over-engineering since the weak link appears to be the stamped...
I am also doing this mod, but went soft line instead of hard line.
