Yes please keep us updated. Im curious to see how these small pump spun units compare to the larger motor spun units, like the one avengeusa sells here:
Wolverine Technologies LLC Wolverine Centrifuge for WVO, WMO, Biodiesel
This is the only water seperator I could find with the thread size you specified.
Wix 33616 & Napa 3616 Fuel Filter: FleetFilter Secure Online Store
I am also enclosing a wix/napa filter comparison chart, which lists most of there popular sizes.
So is this a small dieselcraft centrifuge, like the type some otr semi trucks use onboard to clean there engine oil? Definitely looking forward to your review.[thumbzup]

Here you go. Have made several now, and they work great! I tap all holes and actually screw the fittings, in instead of "wallowing" them out with a drill bit and jb welding fittings in. [thumbzup]
Look into the sbc oil pump. If done right it is an unstoppable workhorse.
Insted of the normal approach using jb weld to hold it all together I have invested in the neccesary drill bits/taps so I can thread all fittings in. Might post a couple in the classifieds if anyone is interested.
I ended up adding about 3 gallons of gasoline to my wmo mixture, and it made a world of difference. Power is still not the same as 100% diesel but very close.:jumpin:
Welcome to the site! Havn't heard of Mascoutah in several years, not since living at Scott AFB many many years ago. Thanks for bringing back good memories!;-)
As far as mileage, its a 25 year old 3/4 ton vehicle. You would have a hard time getting 20+ plus mpg from a similiar sized vehicle...
Took her out for a 2 hour drive, temps in the upper 70's. Was a little bit better than last night, so maybe it is a viscosity issue. Don't think it's the filters since idle and startup is about the same.
Will add 5 gallons of gas when I dump in the 20 gallons of wmo I finished filtering today...
Finally got my filter system finished and tried it out tonight. I pre-filter the wmo through 2 pair of jeans, one inside the other with the ends tied into knots.
Then I pump it using a sbc oil pump through a 10 micron wix filter, right into my truck. Added 20 gallons of wmo to about 10 gallons...
Congratz!!! Looks nice!
My first was also a non-turbo... but once I heard a "whistler" I had to have one.
Luckily my wife understands my addiction... so far
Hey Mike I have the same problem with the light not working on one of mine. But in full sun I get the same reading with a meter as my other unit that has a working light. Maybe bulb burnt or something???
Put a meter on it see if you get voltage, if you do I say use it.
Thanks Bill, I had not noticed the flow direction was wrong. Will keep looking then.
Even filter1.com is out of stock of the 24770.
Found this one made by Donaldson, for $25 shipped. All thread sizes are the same just may have to get creative with mounting it...
Yea I saw that also, but with an 18 business day delay figured they would end up cancelling the order.
* Non-stock item--shipping delayed up to 18 business days
Closest replacement I found was the WIX #24309 for $25.97
