K-town was unique as it had the visitors from all over Europe of all branches and is the major care facility for Europe.
I made two trips there myself and was thinking that I was actually back in a paying resteraunt far away from Uncle Sam.
Stuttgart '88 to '90.
Back on topic...I have put about...
My pump quit and I did all the reading this weekend and last.
Pulled it out and cleaned all the grounds and removed the pump from the motor just to make sure that it was not siezed up.
A couple of times I got a small "ugh" out of it but basically a no-go.
Checked voltage to the other side of the...
I don't mean to sound pesitmistic but I would plan on bearings & outer races too if you moved it very far with that "stuff" in there.
If the bearing rollers have any rust they will fail on the road or worse, down the road.

Not put any pressure on him (Rich) but he told me that he was going to clean it up especially for the visit to Tim's "O.D. Green MV Estate" next Saturday. :D
Looking forward to meeting him and other MVers too.

I must have a newer style air pack as I do not have any plugs on the rear at all. Only the drilled and tapped center hole for mounting support as the rear.
Is there an alternate method for these styles?
jimm1009
It looks to be in bad shape anyway.
You can certainly replace it with a modern MS series plug. Just need to know the wire size and current draw to purchase the correct one. The flip side is that your equipment that connects here will have to have the new style mating connector installed on it as...
If it has a tarp take it off and put it in the truck and this will help tremendously with rear vision and wind resistance. Taking the side and end boards will also help too.
If you can get it loose the lunette ring can be flipped upside down using a 1 1/2 inch (1.5 inch) box end wrench and this...
Lonesome715,
I personally think that you will be more happy with your choice.
I sure would like to see your work & design when you have it on paper.
I am not an expert in electrical systems but I do plan and install unique systems in helicopters. With this stuff in the aviation industry we...
Kenny,
"My committee" is self-proclaimed (& self-awarded) by the same women who sometimes thinks that she is my mother too for the last 30 years or so.
Not that "she" is correct on either count but that is her opinion.
My philosophy usually is "easier to beg for forgiveness than...
Just to clarify, the two separate alternators, 1 each 24 and 1 each add-on 12 are completely seperate electrical systems.
The 24 volt system would be the OEM system tied into all the OEM electrical components with the two 12 volts batteries below in the OEM battery compartment.
The add-on 12...
I hate to put this question here since it should probably go in the modification side but has anyone that is basically a full-time or mostly full-time heavy deuce driver done a modification to the transfer case lever to make it more easily reached for shifting in the suggested method here in...
If you can't find a good one on e-bay there is a link here to Erik's Surplus.
Trailer Plug, 8724316 / MS75020-1
I added both the male and female 4-pin glat plugs because there are some that put the wrong plug on their trailers.
Just as easy to add two as it is to add one.

In Louisiana the only way that you can skip a title is if the buyer from Uncle Sam (name on SF-97) is a used auto dealer with a Louisiana license.
Otherwise you have to title it in the name of the SF-97 holder first.
GL gets around this with a SF-97 reassignment that seems to be accepted in most...
4 x 4, I PM'd Tim today to make sure about the dates but I would assume that they are cast in O.D. Green concrete by now.
Looking forward to seeing a new member but you can't drool too much on the trucks!!!! Just kidding, I was drooling all over Tim's beautiful M35A2 winch truck last fall at...
If the invoice has green lettering on it then you are supposedly not yet approved. This is a good thing as they clearly screwed up.
The invoice for anything that they sell is supposed to have red lettering on it saying Paid once you are Officially Approved.
I thought that the live chat people...
Do a live chat with them today ASAP (NOW). Preserve your rights as a buyer and let them know that you are in no way wanting to default and that you want the sale to stand.
Very important to say that similar statement to them.

As per the live chat attendee at GL we sent the e-mail to the regular e-mail address (info@govliquidation.com) but put in the subject box; Attn. Management as they instructed us to do.
This was done on Thursday of last week and I can't say that as of today we have actually had success other than...
Thanks but that is the exact part number that I gave the dealer to trace for me.
I have the genuine microfich filmes that were created by GM for the military to compose their parts TMs from.
This genuine GM document is the source for the part number that was placed into the TM.
