Bellhousings are different. BUT, the plate on the back of the motor can be changed to make them work.
I did notice that the balance on the flywheels are different though...
Hmmwv wheels are 8.25 wide, 9.75 wheels are a PITA to mount hmmwv tires on. I am assuming the rims you have are duallies? I have thought about it as well but I feel they are to thin. There are 7 in wide drw wheels out there.
No such thing as "reverse rotation" gear sets in light duty trucks.
Front and rear yokes are phisicaly different but will interchange. U-joints are different. I wouldnt recomend this though as your now going to have to replace the crush sleave on both axles insted of just one........
