I think you would have to add quite a bit of trans fluid to dye 50 gallons of diesel. Good point though if anyone is using a 50/50 mix or something. I added too much once and couldn't figure out why my exhaust smelled like burning tires.
Hmm. I don't see an mv money pit as a wise investment. However in 50 years if my a2 isn't rusted into the ground (which it prob will be) it might be worth a pretty penny.
Beautiful. You know, in Maryland you would have been arrested on weapons charges. Those trees would be cut down and that road would have been under construction for 3 years. On and you would probably get a ticket from a speed camera.
I don't know and haven't done much research on it but I have been wanting to check mine as well. I crawled under there the other day an it appears to just be 2 or 4 (I can't recall) bolts that hold the end cap on. If it's like some electric motors, then you should be able to remove those bolts...
That's pretty cool. Good point about making sure those ubolts are tight. That applies to any speed obviously, but it would be a **** of a sight to see a deuce on its belly showering sparks at 75 mph.
Screw it. We all end up putting way way more money into an mv than well ever get out of it. Hind site is 20\20 just keep moving ahead. But yeah, I would be a little ticked about the tire.
I know there's a button on the hydraulic head that pops off if the truck isn't driven for a long time. This will cause a runaway. I don't know enough about the specifics to get into the details but maybe someone who does will chime in.
