No, you do. Suction leaks don't show up as well as pressure leaks. A proper fuel system won't need the pump for the engine to operate. If you keep killing pumps...
- What size fuse do you have installed? Has it blown?
- Have you checked the inside of your tank?

For those who are looking for a battery equalizer, I have two 100 Amp for sale. $200 shipped/each.
DC AC Power Inverters - has a good price on 24V to 110VAC converters.
The truck is very low on my "To Do List". I haven't touched it. In time, I'll get around to it. I have been gathering parts here and there. Once I've got all the main bits rounded up, then something might happen.
Yea, that could be done.
If someone seriously wants one, email me. I haven't been on this site much for the past couple years. Pretty much sense I started this thread.
Doghead,
that is the regulator for the alternator. The rectifier is what fails and causes the key off battery drain problems. Those who install a battery disconnect and consider the problem solved are reducing your battery's lives. Your exposing your batteries to excessive A/C voltage.
Looks like there is a 60 amp equalizer on ebay for $200. That's a good deal. And another starting @ $50 but with 6 days left. If you can afford an equalizer, it is the best solution with the least amount of modification.
It's closer to what isn't needed. It will need SAE #1 to #2 bell housing adapter, crankshaft spacer, flex plates, starter ring gear, oil to coolant cooler, piping for associated cooler, drive shafts, Allison shifter, TV valve linkage, 5 ton MF bell housing w/ true #1 SAE pattern, and a lot...
Yes, the MT 647 is direct drive in 4th gear. The MT 647 has the same specs as the 643. The 647 is just a bit beefer for transit use. I will be mounting larger tires once the trans is installed. This should equal out the gearing difference. I only drive the truck locally anyways.
I paid...
You can reuse the washers. It should be a one time use washer, but you can as long as it's clean. These injectors are of a standard Bosch injector design. Any diesel shop should be able to provide replacements.
Exactly what I have been thinking when reading this thread. That is stated in the LDS manual. It's not the injectors which give the additional power. LDS have been using both.
If your towing 20K, or anywhere close to 20K, you need to stop what your doing and use the stock pentle hitch and have air brakes on your trailer.
Also, I do not believe the m35A2 is rated for 20K pulling.
The curt hitch works great. The closer up the the frame, the better. A 14K drop bar brings it back down for towing. And the Curt hitch is a low cost solution. :deadhorse:
