Guys, thanks. That's just what I wanted to hear. Bill, I like the Mart of Wal reference. Cliff, I was just going to fab something up to accept smaller batts. I will be battery shopping at the big box mart this weekend! Oh boy!
Okay guys. My batts are nearly gone. If I replace my 6TLs with some from the big box mart will they last as long? Or will they have a shortened life? Just need to know if I need to invest in $400 6TLs (pair). Also, if big box mart brand replacements are okay, what specifications are...
I checked out the system as indicated in the PS from Bjorn. This is what I got:
Voltage w/o load: 25.2
Voltage under load (cranking fuel off): 20.7
Voltage running: 28.0
My gauge stayed in about the same position (Mid to low end of green).
Cranks fine. I guess my gauge could be off?
Any...
Kenny,
Could you direct me to the PS article on adding OHT to the cannister? I've never done it and don't know where to add it or what OHT is. Thanks.
Steve
My charging gauge is still in the green, but on the lower side (not near the tick mark anymore). Does this mean I have a battery problem or a charging problem? What TM doe I use to troublshoot this problem? Thanks.
Steve
Re: RE: Re: RE: Deuce tool box (on the cheap)
It is a 4 x 6 spacer to allow for tire clearance. I should have used the old M105 frame like Vinny Socom suggested. I need to get some steel to cover that hole in the back. Maybe one day.
Needed extra storage for the truck. For such a large vehicle it sure doesn't have much storage space. Anyway, I had these rocket boxes just sitting in the garage. They went on each side of the duece very nicely. They hold my chocks and some recovery gear. Cost me about $5 each.
