    Calling Poverlone

Gary, The recent request about winch operation got me to thinking. I ALWAYS have to refer to the -10 to run my winch (perpetual senior moment!). Anyway, would it be possible to print a decal that gives abbreviated winch operation instructions. The one below is a start. Perhaps others can...

GSA run in the deuce (holy cow!)

RE: Re: Please Stop Wayne, They were great at that location! They used two forklifts--one to bring the stuff out to the loading platform from the warehouse, and one on the ground to load my trailer. They bent over backward to help me out. They didn't charge me anything and they did all the...

GSA run in the deuce (holy cow!)

I'll definitely being selling many of these tools. I counted 60 air drills alone. I'm going to check them all out and categorize them by whether they work or not. I'm really excited about the win--I alway lose! This is my first win! Yeah--feels good.

GSA run in the deuce (holy cow!)

I won an auction for a lot of tools on Friday. Was chomping at the bit to get over to get my booty all weekend. First, I took my F250 with trailer--filled both of the them on the first load. Had to go back so I took the deuce. I can't believe all the stuff I got for $480! Delta drill press...

Stearing problem in M54 Bobed 5 Ton

When I went to 1100 XLs on my bobbed deuce, I had BAD wander and I had to fight to keep the truck straight. Turned out that one tire/wheel was way out of balance. When I put that tire on the rear, the problem went away. Just my experience, not sure this helps you or not.

Singles or duals on a Shorten DEUCE's rear-end?????

I've had it both ways. Currently running duals. It is noticably more nimble (if you can use that word when describing a deuce) and stops much quicker with singles.

    Helped a woman in distress

Marti et al., Thanks for the comments. It's sad commentary on our society when people you help don't even thank you. I don't know if most of you have noticed that even holding the door open for people (man or woman) they act like they deserve it and don't say thank you!! It really irks me...

Air compressor hot / how does it oil

I agree with the others. I just changed mine last week. There is an oil hole right at the arrow that is covered. Notice that this hole corresponds with a small line to the top side of the compressor. I believe this facilitates oil movement upward.
