Ok I started going through this unit today. It was rebuilt in 2011 just like it says. Do they ever reissue tag with serial number on it? This unit does not have the captured nuts where it should for a 2011 either. It looks like a 2009 or older unit that has had a tag with date and serial number...
This is where it gets tricky. I have used the Gates hose from Oreillys and Napa. It is a little snug. The rolls I have ordered fit perfectly, just like the stock fuel line. I don't know what the difference is between local stock and what I ordered. What I ordered is diesel line though
I paid like $26 for a 50 foot roll of gates 1/8" hose. It has done 4 units. I've had real good luck with gates hoses on vehicles and equipment so I'd anticipate it lasting longer than the specified line for these.
That helps because while I was in there I discovered the shock is shot. I was going to start looking for the part number. This the most reasonable place to find them?
Just to provide closure and ideas for others this is what I ended up doing. Channel and pintle were like $40. I cut the old one up and welding this together and hit it with some spray paint I had.
Hope you had a good one yourself! I have that door in good condition. I can send you pics if you want them. PM me your address so I can figure out shipping this. Just due to size I can't imagine it is cheap though. The last panels I sold the buyer happened to come into my area and I met him with...
Very interesting. I didn't know Ritchie was selling out of Columbus. Was it the old gov liquidation site? I'm not surprised you have battery issues. I don't think they left many good batteries in units.
So is this WIFI only, or will it use a cell data signal as well. Reason I am asking is if the power is out and your router is not on a battery backup you will not have WIFI to be able to remote start. I like the idea a lot btw.
i haven't had time to get into this one and probably won't for months yet. Looking inside the motor looked pretty new. That's one of the reasons I was asking. If it turns out it is new and not reman so much the better! It's been sitting a long time though and my experience has been more problems...
I was moving the remaining gen sets I have around and noticed this sticker on an 803a. Hours on meter match the sticker. Anyone have any idea what all was done with this repair? No documentation inside on this one.
Mine looked brand new. I bought a pair of 831s that were rebuilt and had 2 hours each on them. One worked perfect and the other worked for a couple times and then wouldn't work. Researching it there seemed to be a lot of trouble with them on these units. I bought an extra, but if that one goes...
