Mine had the same symptoms. It started and ran fine and then all of a sudden didn't start up and run normally. If the switch goes out it will keep it at very low rpms.
I agree with this! I have my personal unit under a shed roof with 2 open sides. I have about 4 cords of wood under the rest of the roof. Mice and chipmunks love woodpiles. I took no chances with mine, and just about all the units I go through get the same treatment unless requested otherwise.
My power was out yesterday. I ran AC, well, dryer, lights, and small oven on an 803 with no problem at all. Life went on as normal without having to shut off loads to do so.
I wouldn't worry about the 60A plugs. They are tested much higher than that to certify them at 60A. I have run 75A on mine for a load test through 50A plugs
I've removed this modification off of about half a dozen sets. It had nothing to do with the slave port. The slave port will get you 24v to the batteries
I use a piece of old radiator hose with a 90 degree bend in it. It fits snug enough in the top of the radiator that no coolant leaks while filling. Best part is it was free laying around in my junk pile!
I figured the throttle cable would go. The whole governor is not right anyway so I want to start over with that and get it adjusted properly. It seems to run right how they have it rigged, how it does I have no idea. This might be a project that takes a month given the amount of time I have...
Of course if you take the pipe you have to a muffler shop and have them bend a piece exactly like it and weld that flex in you will have a setup with a lot less weight!
Sure thing! I have galvanized pipe on mine for exhaust. I just took a couple black pipe 2" nipples and welded them in a piece of flex with a tig. The cheap flex in 25' rolls will leak badly. I had a piece of the good stuff about 12" long that I used.
