Yes i have wait till you guys see all the goodies going on Saturday plus new engine paint.
That's a good idea with angle iron... i might cut it all off and weld a new piece in there.
I hate freakin oil leaks. The injector pump cover where the hydraulic pump would go is leaking and I'm going...
Such a nice day I figured I'd get a jump on the work for saturday. Got the front end and radiator off. The coolant was pretty soupy towards the bottom it definitely needs to be flushed.
Take a look at these pictures of the radiator and tell me what you guys think...... the lower steel piece is...
Looks good..... thanks for the pictures. I'm hoping to cut mine off in a week or so. This weekend I'm pulling the front end apart to do hoses and paint engine bay and fix the cab rust and rocker panel on passenger side.
I'm going to be rebuilding mine soon. I'm going to start with master cylinder cause I think that's the problem. Everything is wet and I think it's dripping down onto the air pack.
Yes I have researched the subject alot and I'm going the house paint way. I painted a she'd 10 yrs ago with bear ultra premium and it still looks good today. To me the house paint is a good option for the body work. I will be using a Wagner hopper painter that holds three gallons and has a 20...
Was feeling lazy this afternoon after I picked up the seats.... I didn't take the front end off yet. Next weekend
I got my gauge panel painted from my buddy streetgliderx. You guys should encourage him to make more of these.... I'm going to have the tach and speedo and fuel level water temp air...
Not a crew cab.... It's gonna be a extended cab lol........
The next "PIMP" mod will be alpine head unit and kicker speakers and I'm serious..... Can't roll in heavy metal without some heavy metal bahahahahaha
Loaded Power Seats!
Ok so maybe I'm crazy..... but a loaded deuce sounds good no? I was cruising craigslist last night and found a full set of durango black leather seats. 2 buckets and 2 benches.... the buckets are both power seats and the first bench is a 40/20/40 split and the third row is...
Well it begins...... thanks to pafarmer we got the deuce bed off today. It was relatively easy. I also got to meet shenkmen. Then later this afternoon I went to gibbs house and got the gauge and sending unit to do a fuel pressure gauge in the cab.
Tomorrow I'm hoping to start taking the...
Yes I have no need for neutral unless being towed.
Also I see no need for a regulator. The cylinder is rated for way more them 120 psi and if the throw is measured correctly then it should work perfectly without binding the transfer case. This is also why I want to use the lever now. My first...
Nah you guys are over thinking it..... the spring is only going to pull back till the cylinder stops. It won't be pulling on the lever forcing or holding it in high range. The cylinder will be mounted so the lever is where it is supposed to be. Also as I wrote before I'm not putting in a neutral...
Haven't been able to work on the truck much the past week or so. The work will begin Saturday though. The bed is coming off to pafarmer and then it will be off the road for the next month or so. After the bed comes of the entire front end is coming off to work on the engine and plumbing. I have...
Push it forward? Mine is pull up and it locks the door. That's the first thing I tell my kids to do. "Did you lock the door? Yup ok let's roll" lol I picked my kids up from school on Monday in the deuce since it will be off the road for the next month or so. They all loved it so many little kids...
