Exactly plus they are cast..... I can see them breaking pretty easy, **** I've seen top of the line rod ends and chrome moly sheer off..... and not due to inferior welds or quality parts either.
I don't really see a need for neutral in the transfer case. Atleast not in my truck. I don't have a pto winch and never plan on it. I don't even know how that works or if the transfer case would need to be in neutral for it to work.
So yesterday I had the deuce out in the evening at my wife's relatives and her one uncle said to me something very cool and interesting. He's been a truck driver for many years.
He said about using a eaton fuller 13 spd shift knob on the truck and using the air switches to control the Hi/Low...
Idk about a intercooler. There really is no room to put it unless your redoing the whole front end which to me is to much work. My truck right now runs freakin awesome. It will pull out faster then traffic from light to light. The highway is the problem. I drove to work this morning and 60 was...
Yeah I don't wear ear muffs anymore. Even at 55 on the highway it's not bad. Now if I was going on a long trip I might wear some ear plugs. It's still loud from all the other crap humming and banging.
I can make a HD quality video tomorrow of my truck. I have the walker 21470 truck muffler and I love it. It took some getting used to but now I love it..... has a good rumble and the whistle of my D turbo at around 15 psi of boost is great.
Do you have any pictures of him wheelin to see how much it actually rubs? Best I could find was these pictures. That looks like some hard core wheelin for a deuce..... doesn't look to bad for rubbing...
The lift is free using fall off from work.
I'm working on the wheels.... I really would like to use the fmtv wheels cause 6 o rings are like $15 where 5 tubes are $175.....
I'm not worried about the back flexing I'm worried about the front.... That weight from the engine... I've seen...
I'll have to do some searching and see see what else I can find for a knuckle.
The shackle idea sounds like a PIA. I already have all the drop brackets cut. Just need to be welded and holes drilled I'll post pictures tonight.
Well I was looking for I taller steering knuckle that guys make but blackrock told me they were on backorder.
I'll probably cut the ends off mine and make a new drag link.
I searched up and down and didn't find anything....
I was wondering what you guys think about using the m105 overload springs as add-a-leafs in the front spring pack. Other then the leaf clamps probably not fitting I don't see a reason why you couldn't do this.
I am working on a lift kit now...
