Turning fuel down on a multifuel

the blown head gasket might be the cause of the smoke if the affected hole doesn't completely burn the fuel. Is the smoke continuous or puffs out? If you don't want to pull the head yet and therefore start taking off the turbo to do the pyro job, turning the fuel down is easy, but might not...

Red Dot has some ceiling mount and back wall units as well. Different aspect ratio on them, one or another might be better or worse.. http://www.rdac.com/Pages/product_pages/units_index.html# attached are some interior measurements of the M35A2 cab I just took. They are not perfect but are as...

Alas we must say goodbye to you Multifuel.

If I were going to report the deuce, I would go with the Cummins 6BT mechanical 5.9. More RPM margin, plenty of power. I might even turn it -down- a bit. 200HP would be more than enough, without risking the transmission, 5th gear is a weak link I believe, and it is only rated 300 Ft Lbs. If that.

Ham Radio Operators / Steel Soldiers

Hello Jeff, welcome to the ham radio section, or topic as it might be. In the menu, there is a forum for electronics, but not specifically for radiocommunications. I wonder also if that could be added? Also hi KC7EQO!

Ham Radio Operators / Steel Soldiers

What do you have in mind? although shipping could be very costly on 360 LBs of gear. Do you dislike anything about the GRC-106? The most common operator complaints on the GRC-106 /A are: 1.) the cooling fan sounds like a vacuum cleaner or a tornado 2.) the unit for sideband use has only USB...

    Drivetrain Operating Temperatures

check the brake drag on that wheel.? It was the result in my case. Only a small drag will raise the temp. as fot t-case and transmission temps, they have always been too hot to touch after highway driving. 20,000 miles later I've seen it as normal.

M35+S-280 vs M109 inside and outside dimensions

Yes pls post some pics, I never seen one totally empty. I must contend a point though, the M109 has wood filled walls, and things, heavy things, can be bolted right on. On the S-280 - you must carefully design the mounting and preferrably take note to put the fasteners through the skeleton if...

M35+S-280 vs M109 inside and outside dimensions

The reason I am asking around is that I have issues with the shelter I have now. These are actually good points of the shelter, yet they do not all jibe with my use as it has evolved. The Army might say something like this: "not concurrent with the continual evolution of high speed low drag...

Ham Radio Operators / Steel Soldiers

Too bad most hams can't fix their own radios much less build one from household scraps. The people getting into ham radio today are mostly equipment operators. They have little interest in the pleasure making something they can buy. That is a shame. Not learning code never stopped me from doing...

M35+S-280 vs M109 inside and outside dimensions

Just thinking about M109's.. The M35 with an S-280 is about 12Ft tall outside. How does the M109 compare? also, the S-280 gives you abot 6.5FT height, 6.5FT width, and about 12FT length inside. I think the M109 has quite a bit more room. On bed width vs M109 body width, I'm wondering how...
