Anyone know what a Deuce originally cost the government, & what that would be in today's dollars?
Say a standard M35A2, no winch, no special equipment.
Would be fun to compare with current truck prices.

I finally got a 2 pin "jumper" or"slave" cable.
My 1970 Deuce has the receptacle, but i want to put one on my 1952 Deuce also.
Anyone got a spare they would part with?
Thanks again,
Eric
Have to put a clutch in my 1952 Studebaker "Reo" gas deuce. I've put a few car & light truck clutches in, but never anything this big.
I seem to recall someone posting pictures of a homemade "Winch" setup used inside the cab to support the trans while moving it to the rear. Anyone know where...
Anybody got "plans" for making a deuce tow bar?
I'm getting another deuce with no brakes. It's only about 25 miles away, so I figure I could just tow it with my 1970 M35.
I've never seen a GI tow bar, or how it attaches.
Help appreciated!

Just got back from North Carolina with a Mighty Mite & M416(?) trailer on our 20' VFW trailer.
I sure don't know how many parts make up a Mighty Mite, but man we've got a s___load of them!
Many parts are new, some rebuilt, & miscellaneous used.
I think there are 5 big garbage bags, an M416...
Got our 1970 Multifuel (non turbo) deuce up-&-runnng for the Harvest Fest parade. Pulled a lowboy trailer with a 1942 Cletrac Bomber Tug.
High school band stayed about 1/4 mile behind us due to our smoke!
Truck starts & runs so well I hate to make any serious modifications.
Would it be safe to...
Found an ad for a "1952 Studebaker M35 cargo truck".
I'm still new at this, but the only info I've come across for 1952 6x6 trucks are references to the M135 & M211.
Any ideas as to what this is? I'd like to know more about it before I go look at it.
Thanks,
Eric Wendt
Anyone know where I can get a wheel bearing nut "socket" for an M35?
What size are those things?
I have to do some brake work & really don't like the hammer & chisel method.
Thanks,
Eric
Brought deuce out for Memorial Day parade. Everything fine at first. Then turned a corner & got a VERY diistinct clunk from somewhere in the rear. You could easily feel it in the front seat. Took it real slow after that. Had to finish the parade. Problem occured several more times on way home...
Just found an XM 211 sitting in a field not far from me. I'm told it last ran 5-6 years ago.
Owner wants to sell it. I have no idea what it's worth, or if it can be restored. I'm trying to decide whether to make an offer. I suppose I could always part it out if there is anyone who would buy the...
Bought a Deuce with 2 trailers.
1. A nice M332 ammo trailer. Needs paint, but in great shape.
Can anyone tell me what the cutout in the tailgate is for?
2. An M2540-S pole trailer. REALLY nice with recent OD paint job.
Don't have any use for it. Would trade for stuff for our deuce.
Thanks...
My dad landed at Iwo Jima in an amphibious tank. He said it had detachable pontoons on the sides, a 75MM "pack" howitzer, & an open cupola.
He said it was definitely not the seme as an Amtrack or Alligator. I haven't had any success finding pictures or info on these tanks.
Can anyone help...
