Anybody have experience with this guy?

RE: Re: Anybody have experience with this guy? Yeah, I saw that guy in Phenix city. I sent him several emails and he ignored them all. I'm often amazed at the business practices of some of these people. I guess they're making so much money that they only need to respond to SOME of their...

    Hydrolock?

Someone mentioned checking an engine for hydrolock before starting. I thought hydrolock was water in the cylinder (s). Since water can't be compressed, attempting to start the engine would cause damage to rods, pistons etc. So, my question: how do you check for it in a diesel engine when you...

    4X4 deuce offroad

There's a fellow in our club (first florida chapter of the MVPA) who did this to a 5 ton (as buggyman indicates). He kept the original spring pack on the rear, removed the rear axle, and made a stanchion to hold the rear part of the spring pack in place. Very nice work. Steve

Chad, Nice truck! I like the keeper you have on it behind the cab. Could you post a picture from behind so I can see it better? I'm getting a bobbed M35A2 and would like to use a keeper like you've got. Thanks! Steve

    Bed intallation on bobbed deuce

Joe, Nice work! I'm a wimp--I bought my deuce from Dave at Eastern Surplus. He's the one who cut it down to accept an M105 bed. You can see an example on his website: http://www.easternsurplus.net/images/kentva5.jpg. My truck is similar to this, except I wanted singles on the rear. I want to...

    Bed intallation on bobbed deuce

Jason, Those extensions on the trailer, are they the right width already? In other words, with them in place, do they fit right up on the duece frame rails? Why do you have to extend them? If you could send a picture or two, I'd be greatly appreciiatiive. Thanks. Steve
