No was running a hybrid hx35/40w before....was only pushing 10 psi WOT Egt hovered around 800 degrees......TO much turbo tho the hybrid was.....The whistler Is a perfect match to the 6.2....I get 8 psi WOT.....Egt are around 750...but truck has 5.13 gears in it and so fuel use is around 14 to 16...
lol as far as i know im the only guy so far with a 3lj-319 on a 6.2....I know the 6.2 has been turboed...you would be crazy not to turbo it....i have been asked by a few ppl to do the same setup to there MV....
I serviced all three axles bearings seals etc......No noise for roughly 60 miles then it did it twice as i was shifting from foward to reverse as i mashed the clutch in.....Clutch slips in 5th a little bit when pulling steep grade so a new one is in the works thanks for asking will let you knw...
Well just got done putting all new O Rings in HH,Fuelshut Off, And High Pressure Pump On my Lds Pump That was rebuilt in 1972.....Still gota drill my bolts for saftery wire but a few teaser pics
Just got back from 30 mile trip no noise what so ever until i stoped for fuel i had to do a 12 point turn and as i mash the clutch in i get the roar.....regardless if the tires are turned....throw out bearing maybe......but i was looking under the truck and the air hose to transfer case is...
Just got the truck changed oil and filters.....been on a camp for 15 years....its on the to do list.....its only got 7100 miles on it.....the rockwells in my off road truck been in there 8 years and have around 45000 miles on them and the bearings are all tight and thats with 44 inch...

I had a closed knuckel Dana 60 in a 1/2 ton gmc and also the d70 rear and the 6.2 in it was only pushing 5lbs of boost kept snapping the 23 spline axle shafts and i broke two carriers in the d70.......Gota a 14bolt rear and a Dana 60 Front Kingpin axle to go in it so all is well....Thanks guys!
Hey all i have a 68 m715 and want to connvert the wheel pattern to 8 by 6.5 modern chevrolet lug pattern...i have a set of rear full floater hubs for a Dana 70 but was wondering if the m715 dana 70 had the same wheel beraings id and od as the Gm dana 70...I know that the eaton ho 72, 14 Bolt...
Well the m1028 is fixed and all is well.....redid the fuseable links with circuit breakers and replaced alot of the iffy wires....also the ignition module at the bottom of steering coloumn was bad....So Thanks for all who Commented!
Okay well all the problems happend at once in ingles parking lot....Do you think the switch assembly went bad under steering coloumn? And fuse you mean a bus fuse or the Fusable link?
Hey guys just ran into a problem with the m1008...Smelled something getting warm and when cut truck off wouldnt start back.....I jumped doghead conversion relay and drove truck home with the Gen 1 Light burning....changed the two relays next to the 12v 24v relay after i did doghead...
