Hum I see what you mean im sorry did not notice that. however I do not know what they are talking about then in this add cause I can also find another listing the lens part #8 in that diagram. However on mine just as yours the entire bulb comes out as one unit with the red plastic appearing to...
Here is the bulb you are looking for or you could contact delks im sure they have them as well.

Sounds like you may have a runner on...
Yeah off the top of my head cannot remember which way that lever is pointing. im going to go out and look for you in about 30 minutes here. Ill even take a pic for ya.. When priming make sure the fuel coming from the last filter is running nice and clean before hooking up to the injection pump...
Could not find it under that item number. However if its a new old stock pump id imagine it would probably start to have the same problem pretty soon just due to the way the gov ring was made back then. I had my pump rebuilt by badger diesel was 300 bucks hard to beat that and they put the new...
This is exactly what is happening. Mine is having the same issues I actually removed the check valve on mine and put a fitting in that just kept the T at the same level. It has been running fine this way for at least 10 hours. However I do worry about that crap getting into the injectors. Later...
Ah from this post you made it sound like whatever other one out there... LOL
Any way your in for a major overhaul on either the 002 or the 003. That being said I actually made an electronic governor for the 003. I used a hitorque futaba metal gear servo and an atmel micro to drive it. Well its...
Yeah They can all sync already its built into the Mep 004 and up. There are synchronizing lights and everything built into the control panel. You just hook the appropirate cables between the units as the TM explains and off ya go.
In my opinion this sounds like a pain in the Arse so why not...
So I have a few of these as well. Most likley the gov rin in the injection pump is coming apart and you get these little chunks of black crap in the injection pump running around which tend to clog the check valve that is at the bottom of that T fitting that has a fuel line coming from the day...
Well I have a couple 005's pretty much the same machine just 2 more cyl on it. Sort of like the 003 002 are very closely related. Some stuff I went through was the fuel system on both of mine needed a lot of attention. Pumps did not work you can test these out by flipping the battle short switch...
Agreed have you read the TM yet? ITs a good place to start to get a good overview of how everything works and is put together. The box you speak of also has a glowplug in it to preheat the air moving into the machine with the glowplugs on the cyl. Perhaps yours is bad but what Storeman has said...
Well I will say this. The CB is there for safety and so you dont burn something else up that is shorting out. The fact that it is popping means there is a short somewhere in the system or something is drawing a tremendous load that usually should not like a stuck fuel pump or something. At any...
Hum well im utterly confused :) Id have to go read the tech manual for the 002 and 003. But sounds like you have a pretty good handle on the point I was making. Guess you just have to figure out if it is a real amp meter that reads a % power scale or if it is driven by a DC voltage. However...
I would agree it does sound as though you are slightly confused on what the %power meter is telling you. IT is not an amp meter as you have reffered to it. THe larger units like the 004 and up do indeed have an amp meter as well to see current on the unit but the % power meter is really an...
id have to second this if you really want economy and its going to be a long outtage its hard to beat the Honda inverter type units. I have a EU2000i and absolutly love it. To be honest just to run the TV some lights and other routine things throughout a normal evening its more than enough...
This might be obvious but both the pumps in my mep 005 were dead as well when I got it. Looks as though you have taken the pump out already. I hooked mine up to power and rapped on them real well alll around with baltine hammer and they booth started pumping away. Have been working ever since...
agreed the load meter should not move much at all from just the hair dryer that is total percent load as read by the thermal watt converter. Sounds like the the percent load meter you replaced has a lower total DC voltage required to swing the needle to full scale. What I would probably do is...
Dont be too hard on them they are a small family run buisness brick and mortor store. William Delk is one of the niceset guys to deal with and will talk to you about problems your having even if you have not bought something from him. He knows these machines very well and has seen most of the...
Thanks rick yeah appreciate it that sounds like the ticket for sure. Ill just dry it out real well again in the sun or with a hair dryer then spray the sealant onto the board and it ought to solve the problem. Let me know Monday what you find thanks again for all the responses.
