I have been working at home and at aford dealer ship full time since high school, around 6 years. I never thought I would spent what I have in tools. Most people cant under stand why big name tools(mac, snap on, cornwell, and such) cost so much, but as snap on says " There is a difference".
I just had another 3053a quit on me in my m35a2. I have a 1969 C50 with a NP540 5 speed that I believe is a over drive. It looks as if it would be a simple swap. It looks to have a small u joint on the out put. It looks to be a 1410 u joint. It has a rear facing pto which I want. I has a...

The shaft was fine. I pulled the top cover off the trans and found one of the 5th gear gears is missing several teeth. That is the same thing that happened to my last trans. Is this a common problem or am I driving it wrong.
In 5th gear only it seems, I am starting to hear a loud tapping from the transmission. I is loudest under hard throttle and when engine braking. Any ideas?
I solid mounted the stacks and the t pipe to the cab, but it all flexes right at the bottom back of the cab. I also have flex pipe under the cab to allow for engine flex. I have found that if I dont solid mount the stacks they will kinda flop in the wind so to say.
