Some of the exist threads are years old and I have tried this before and no one replied or reply as do you know how old this thread? Also some of those threads don't exist anymore. That's why I'm posting a end thread.
Hndrsonjr does only having up to 1" cover most of the tools?
Ok so I searched all day today an only found a handful of "opinions" on socket sizes and wrenches for the deuce. Some of the threads that had pictures at one time do not work now or the links are no good at all for the depot master mechinc sets.
im getting a tool set together to keep in my...
So I called the FITG museum and the historian is off till after the holidays but the gentleman I did talk talk was very helpful. He said he was pretty sure the 121st TTC was in Korea one of the few units that didn't go to Germany. But he was almost positive it wasn't under the 28th division at...
Idk the battalion or the platoon or anything else. I think this is what I'm gonna do
Passenger Side
28 INF
121 TTC
Driver side
D-85
you guys have any other suggestions? Do you guys know where I could did out more info of what battalion it would have been so I could do it the right way or...
Oh well that sucks then..... Maybe I'll just put the 28th infantry then, idk yet I'd like to keep it pa markings but under a transportation group since that's what I'll be using the truck for (off roading camping towing)
Hey no problem, I was thinking the markings needed an F and other letters so you got me in the right direction and for that I thank you!!!!! If I can't find out the company he was in I'll probably just put D as both of out names are Daniel and 85 for the year I was born.
I've also seen the 121 as TTC (truck transport company) instead of trans which is correct?
I'll see what I can find out from my grand mother on company.
Idk what company he was in. All my mother knows is 121st truck company. He died a few years ago. Would you know a good guess? I wish I knew more, but I don't. I'm named after him so I really am hopeful I can put something on my truck for him.
so the passenger side of the truck would be 28 INF...
When I get my truck I'd like to redo the bumper markings and since I was born and raised in pa and had some family members serve in the 28th infantry division (the bloody bucket) I'd like to mark my truck like that.
now I have been searching all day and can't figure out how to mark it, I'm just...
I'd be curious to see how it sounds. I was planning on running a glasspack and then slipping a 5" stack over it to hide the muffler and have a bigger stack for a clean install.
Seems like a lot for a shiny glass pack......
A glass pack is a glass pack unfortunately. Unless they are packed with ss mesh instead I fiberglass. I like the way glass packs sound and they are cheap, but that comes at the expense of every few years they need replaced. They do quiet down the...
Also make sure of what your strapping to! There was a video one I saw one time on YouTube of a guy with a jk jeep (4 door wrangler) and they were pulling another jeep out of wet sand on the beach. He had the stick jeep hooked to the hitch with a shackle receiver which is perfect. But the pulling...
At Rausch creek off road park (where you guys hold your rally's) they won't let you use chains or straps with hooks.
I do like chains they have their place but a strap is much much safer.
Thanks I didn't even think of the switch working that way I was think open as in on not open = no contact and off
yeah I read all the fan threads I could find, my plan is to take the mechanical fan off and run just electric atleast in the winter time. When I rest drove my deuce it was 15* out...
