    Issues with SF-97

You cannot ask for a more loyal employee than yourself. You have hit the nail on the head with the training issues. It is very nice the hold time is down drastically. My concern is EUC clearance department cant directly communicate with the customer if there is a problem, and CS and CC cannot...

    Issues with SF-97

Jwade I think I need your help. I have talk to devon, john, jason, elizabeth, and amanda. Each one told me a different story about the status of my EUC. Each one has stated they will look into it and call me back. I have never received a phone call back. I am 83 days in and Liz said 60 more...

    Issues with SF-97

Dan I am in the exact same boat. Being circumvented with technical jargon and no follow up when I have been periodically checking in and was assured they have all they need. Now I am 80 days in and being told to resubmit my euc. Nevermind the fact I was advised by GP to both electronically and...

Are HMMWV slant-back top sets still around?

I am in the process of building an aluminum riveted slant back with angled corners to match the angled aluminum top. Going to skip the turret hole for sake of staying dry. Vehicle will only be used in emergency/disaster scenario. 10k for a roof is what I see them going for. Seeing as how the...

    12g wire for grounding harness?

Also call local car-audio installers. All of the good ones keep 500ft rolls of every gauge for grounding all sorts of things. They WILL sell you cut-to-length(dont expect exact) for a reasonable price.

    HMMWV shakes bad

If the tires became flat and it sat, tires might have flat spots. The runflats and the change in load will have an effect on the camber, making alignment issues amplified. Re-reading your situation, sounds potentially like a bad differential. Almost like a bucking effect?

    Rebuilding X doors - Parts

Fastenal part # 41027 @ $.09 /e to replace all of the structural rivets. These are only for the window brackets. The surround trim has a longer grip range(I did not need those, so I have not researched a correct replacement.) With a dewalt rivet tool ($22 @hd) two pumps breaks and pulls the...

    Rebuilding X doors - Parts

Ted very valuable information. Much appreciated. Did not think about a local place laminating. Have you ever replaced the rubber picture-frame style seal/gasket that holds the window in the frame? Mine are dryrot, torn, worn and painted.

    Rebuilding X doors - Parts

From heavy detail sanding to orbital was night and day in quality of paint adhesion. The meshy grid pattern of the kevlar was vivid until a quick orbital sanding. The orbital also gave the x's a much sharper/consistent/defined profile!

    Rebuilding X doors - Parts

I have a dust collector nearby and particulate respirator on. My concern with the aluminum is the two mentioned sections are badly dented/bent. The rest of the trim is immaculate. kascar has been very good to me so I will most likely order seals and other odds and ends from them, was only hoping...
