i am gonna turn the fuel up too. i run gas through it i run diesel too i even flushed the lines out so im am gonna turn up the fuel. its wierd thought when im runnin low on fuel all my power and smoke will come back for a few seconds at a time.
i understand you i believe that the linkage broke and that put the tc in forward awd then some one put the truck in reverse and backed up and by doing this busted the forward sprag. so as soon as i get a chance i am gonna take the front out put shaft out and check. my best guess is i will be...
I have thought about that JTand i probably will someday but as with every body right now money is a little tight so if i can just fix this one for now I will manage. but thanks though for the thought. I eventually wanna put a airshift and lockers in each axel, thats my wish list any way.
when i got the truck the linkage was broken i fixed it and put it back on and adjusted it then and several time since just to make sure. i dont know what broke the linkage but the awd didnt work at all before i fixed it and as soon as i did the reverse worked.
yes 100% when backing up some times i get a lot of chassie bind never in forward. and i have gotten under the truck and had one tire lifted and some times it will lock and i can take a pipe wrench and with very little effort i can feel something in the transfer case let go would be the best way...

im gonna do that just as soon as i get paid friday and can put some fuel in it. but i do about once every two weeks run som gas through it so it should not be so bad . but i do run a lot of oil throught it. i run around 300 miles a week on the truck.
that is the same thing I was thinkin because the primary filter had no cork gasket either it looked like it had come apart and settled in the bottom of the water sep. just for kicks i may take out the primary tomorrow and drive it and see how it acts.
im startin to think that maybe the truck is runnin like a m35a2 should, but if it is then why here a few weeks ago did the truck get a lot faster and smoke a lot more. i mean i no what causes the power and the smoke but what caused the higher fuel flow.
