Take photos! If you want to take a brake during the drive I recommend the Heartland Military Vehicle Museum in Lexington, Nebraska. They have quite a few vehicles inside and outside. You can not miss it as they have a Huey up on a stand right by the interstate. I drove I-80 on a recovery...
Check GL as they come up every now and then. Have seen them three times now. They go for a lot more then the 105 trailers but a whole lot less then brand new.
Found the thread with the pictures of the relocated tank. May be a good idea to move the tank like this and have the batteries in the cab.

If my poor, old memory is working, we used flashlights like that when we were loading and unloading our tracks from rail cars at night. An experience that I never, ever want to repeat.
That is amazing work and so far beyond anything that I have the patience or attention span to accomplish. Am I the only one who looked at the brass hard top and went "Hmmmm, I wonder if I could get a full sized one?" Something about shiny brass that appeals to me.
In a deuce figure about six hours round trip plus loading time as it is around 300 miles. The good news is that you can stay off of the interstate and US 19 / US 27 is pretty good road the whole way.
If timing is not a critical issue, I am going to a family wedding in Chapel Hill in July. No reason I could not swing by Fayetteville and bring them back to Florida.
Kenny,
Saw these for sale on ebay. Thought that the pictures with manufacturer and numbers could help your search.

I have a load of GI sleeping mats and mosquito nets, these may come in handy, if anyone is interested. I also have some nesting wooden boxes used for document storage and transport. I am also going to sell or trade two large metal transport cases that I have from what I can tell and found from...
Surprising, kind of like when they pulled the two pallets of new 5 gallon scepter cans Monday morning that were for sale in Alabama. I am still betting that those show up in Surplus on Demand!
That video is why I no longer ride my motorcycle. After three times of someone almost hitting me I parked it for good. Had a moron run a red light and broadside or minivan. The light had been red for at least thirty seconds before he ran it, thankfully five cars stayed to talk to the police...
I have plans to mount the other ones on the deuce. Once I get all the boxes loaded and everything painted I think that this will look good. Nice thing is that this trailer is still light enough with the surge brake to pull with some civilian vehicles.
Starting a project for my M116A3 trailer that I will use to take all of my camping gear out for my scouts. The base is an M116A3 trailer and I am adding a bustle rack, generator accessory box, two 25 x 25 x 31 aluminum boxes and then a frame above to hang lights, attach awnings and secure...
Aboonski,
Those tanks will come in very handy the next time a hurricane hits. I have some spare brake parts hanging around so give me a shout as you find what you need.
Ferro,
The wheels and tires look good. Can you post or send some more photos of the set up. Maybe something from a bit further away as I am trying to get a feel for how the 109 looks with singles.
One idea for you is to mount a jobsite box in the bed and secure the fuel tank, tools, and batteries inside. One of the members here did this and I am still trying to find the thread / pictures. Provides security from idle hands as well as rocks and stumps.
