Good luck. Some states are easy, some impossible. I think my state is impossible! I have a tough time getting titles with all the proper stuff, like the SF97.

More complicated. It is shimmed with gaskets, but they are available at truck supply outlets. Put it in place, bolt it down and check for gear binding. Remove, repeat as needed.

I lost 3 trucks that way. Tried to find out why but they don't tell you. Never had a problem in my life with "the man" so I gave up.
Shortly after that my wife bought 3 trucks and they all went through. I still do not know why.
ETA- this was several years ago now, it was happening more...
There was a lot of sawzall work needed. I had to reduce the height of the M1009 pedistals and cut the excess height off the CV seats. They are comfy though.
I kept the seat mount and put Crown Vic buckets in the front only. The only limitation is they do not fold over but that is not my problem, I don't plan to ride back there anyway.
Big comfort difference.
The local reserve guy here brings trucks by for me to envy once in a while. He never gives them a cool down, just shuts them off. I bet you will be fine this time.
