    Chemical Preservative Wrecker cables?

I pour on a little (well, more than a little) ATF. That stuff really travels and seems to soak in well.

    Deuce hard tops

I bought three of the "new in crate" ones in Ohio for $600 each from GL. Just barely hauled them on my M116 flatbed. Moved them around by hand. Very unfun.

    Turbo charger questions

The HMMWV engine is nearly identical and has the turbo. You have to move a few things around but lots of folks have done it.

    Vietnam tribute Truck

It will make some sense to get a modern cargo cover kit with vinyl top and all the hardware. I use the vinyl top all year, then put the canvas top on just for the summer as needed. Might save some money over the long run. I don't think anyone is selling the canvas with bows kit.

    Some crazy fuel problems

The shelves sound like a radio set up. Are any rubber lines on the suction side? Can they collapse? I went through the same stuff, finally changed the fuel tank, all lines, pump and filter. Seems there was a lot of algae in the lines and the new pump woke it up and sent it downstream. Good...

    Vietnam tribute Truck

While any degree of painting professionalism is OK, if you want good lettering use a paint mask set. There are a few guys on here who will make them up for you with your unit numbers and the stars and TP stuff as well as fuel tank and drain air tanks. Makes it real easy to do. I have a hard...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

I had a similar problem and spent less than $5 on a block-off plate for the pump opening, then added an electric pump on the frame. :driver:

LOL I thought the TP35 on my fenders was a unit number!

It refers to the price of toilet paper in 1985. Common mistake. rofl
