I bought three of the "new in crate" ones in Ohio for $600 each from GL. Just barely hauled them on my M116 flatbed. Moved them around by hand.

Parlusk- great to see you back! On my trucks I put a Caterpillar 7N0718 battery cutoff switch below the passenger seat. Real easy to do, and that gives me the same key for both trucks. It is real heavy duty.

It will make some sense to get a modern cargo cover kit with vinyl top and all the hardware. I use the vinyl top all year, then put the canvas top on just for the summer as needed. Might save some money over the long run.
I don't think anyone is selling the canvas with bows kit.

I went through the same stuff, finally changed the fuel tank, all lines, pump and filter. Seems there was a lot of algae in the lines and the new pump woke it up and sent it downstream. Good...
One large gauge wire goes to the negative post on the starter, the other large gauge wire goes to the solinoid on the same post as the positive cable.. The smaller gauge wire goes to the other post on the solenoid.
On mine the missing fuel line goes to the fuel pump just above the NATO plug...
While any degree of painting professionalism is OK, if you want good lettering use a paint mask set. There are a few guys on here who will make them up for you with your unit numbers and the stars and TP stuff as well as fuel tank and drain air tanks. Makes it real easy to do.
