For the front could you do some thing along the lines of the Wrangler soft top clamps. I remember that there were two easy latches to open the front and that may work for the front.

I have a deuce just sitting with me doing work on the shop van. Could pop off the compressor and ship to him if needed. Would be able to go out this evening UPS/FEDEX depending upon how late I go grab it and get it in a box.

If you are looking for some good line graphics the 2008 Georgia and Florida rally shirts have some good graphics. Clinto and OD Iron did the shirts for those two rallies.

Barstow and Camp Dodge are options are options for getting a deuce if you live in Junction. Neither of those make a bad two day drive back. Are you at all familiar with the deuce?

I like that and it beats the heck out of the SMART cars for looks. It would make a great addition to a deuce with a lift gate. Kind of like the off road version of a yacht having the tender for going to shore.

I just had the same airline crack on my deuce last week. Happened while running errands and near my local Lowe's store. I fixed it with a 5' length of ice maker hose. This is braided steel hose and it bolted right on to the fittings. I have the package and will post photo's if interested...

It will make it easy to find in a group of deuces. If it is for a good cause then go with it and you can always repaint later.
