    Help! Electrical emergency!

What was the problem and what did it take to fix it?

    Dolly a DEMIL item?

RE: demil I just got one on a single axle semi trailer. Trouble is I bought two at that sale. They are just about the same trailer but they only want an EUC on one of them. Then they want this telephone switchboard returned. If we are worried that people with 40's tech telephones are going...

    Help! Electrical emergency!

I am thinking that since he knocked them all out the problem is up front, but here is the back just to be sure. These come from the -20 and are in appendix F in case you can't read them and want to download the originals.

    CUCV Glow plug questions

RE: Re: RE: Napa return fuel lines Yes, the 60g are self limiting. I am not disputing that the Wellmans aren't a good choice, but I would like to see some proof that they are the only choice. This is about the third time I have been corrected on the forum and yes I have noticed that my post...

    Help! Electrical emergency!

Did you have power at the fuses? Someone is going to have to trace the circuits from the 12v buss to the back to find the problem. I will try to attach a .jpg of the one page you need from the manual.

RE: Napa return fuel lines Do you have references for this statement?

    CUCV Glow plug questions

RE: Napa return fuel lines It is the same as all 6.2 civi trucks. You can get AC60G plugs at NAPA and they are usually in stock since that is what GM recommends for all 6.2 and 6.5 diesels now. It is what I use in all of my CUCVs.

    Help! Electrical emergency!

There are at least 3 fuses controlling the lights you mention. You might try turning the blackout light switch off and on again.

    M1009 won't start...did a search but no luck

RE: M1009 won I would probably check the connections on the 24v buss behind the back battery next, but they are probably OK. Next I would crawl under the truck and check the connections there. If you have 24 volts at the bat terminal and get 24 volts at the other end of the purple wire with...

    M1009 won't start...did a search but no luck

RE: M1009 won I think I would look at the relay under the dash even if it is new if you get no response when you turn the key to crank. I would put a volt meter on it and see if the red wire has 24v all of the time, the purple wire should have 24v with the key at crank and the small ppl/wht...

6TLs versus big box mart replacements

In FL you could probably get away with two of the cheapest wal mart batteries and you would still have a better warranty than the 6TLs. I put two of the smaller boat batteries in my last truck because they were on sale. I did spend several hours fabbing up an adapter to hold them in. I would...

leaking injector on my M1009 ?

NAPA does sell a kit with all of the lines and little clamps to hold them on.

    Current repeat EUC times

While I am not a dealer, I have been buying surplus for 20 years. I generally buy one B/Q item about 4 times a year. The only time I have had to wait this long is the first time and the time they made everyone re qualify. I am convinced that if I ever do hear back it will be that it has been...

    Current repeat EUC times

The first one always takes a long time.

    Current repeat EUC times

It is now up to 5 weeks and still no EUC. I just got through with a live chat that didn't help at all. Here is part of it: Any of you other regular B/Q buyers ever have an occasional one take this long?

    "buyer load only"

That ain't going to cut it at most bases. At a busy base you will get 10 business days from when your EUC clears to pick up your truck. Then you might get 5 more when they contact you about it and then they will charge you a 25% default fee. Unless your friend's schedule is flexible there is...

    M35A2 vs M818 tractor towing

I just did a 200 mile trip and wouldn't really recommend it. You can hook up the M818 just like a trailer and stopping really isn't too much of an issue (if the brakes work on the M818). It is the going that is the problem. On flat ground we could make 45 to 50 eventually, but any kind of a...

I feel like such a cheap ho

RE: H-Depot Desert Tan Recipe My big concern is what are you going to have to do the prep the truck the next time it is painted. I am thinking that you will have to remove it completely if you go back with enamel. Price and availability sure is a plus though.

    WOW EUC

Today marks the 4th week on mine and it isn't my first. Makes me wonder if that item that went from A to C is holding up my approval.

    New CUCV for the Navy?
