That was my point. If you produce your permit and your DL like the instructor suggests, in a state that doesn't recognize it, you are confessing to a crime. I am also not convinced the young LEOs I am hearing more and more about would cut you any more slack if you told it up front vs he finds...
MS doesn't have any classes, just a full background check including sending your fingerprints off to the FBI, a high fee, and a long wait. This got me to thinking, what do you do if you get stopped in a state were your permit isn't recognized? You would basically be confessing to a crime...
You have got to be kidding? What if you don't have a gun with you. That can't possibly be the first thing on anybody's mind when they are getting pulled over.
And with the recent ruling on the 2nd amendment, how can you possibly become a felon if you forget to mention you are exercising you...
I have heard that if you get stopped for anything, when they run your drivers license number, that part of the report they get back is that you are a permit holder. Not a problem when you aren't too far from home, but it might be if you are up north somewhere. Mississippi permits are issued...
If it is complete with tailgate seats and doors and with all of the glass, I would say 500 to 1000. A rust free body is probably pretty heard to come by in IL. Of course you would have to look at it and see with all of the BS in the reply. Be sure to look under the rubber mat for rust.

It was actually 6774 miles on lot 950 sale 3386 then 957, 958,959 have the same pics.
More importantly to those here. Go to your bid history and pull up something you bid on then go to the top right and click on the event ID number. I think you will find something we have been missing.
Did anyone catch that in the last sale at Huntsville, 4 of the trucks had a picture with 7447 miles on the odomator but only one had that mileage in the listing.
Actually, all 4 had the exact same set of pictures.
RE: M35A3 stays on the shop van
Tupelo, MS is suppose to still have some of theirs. It would be my luck that they will send them to shelby instead of somewhere closer to me.
RE: Re: RE: 6.5L Turbo Diesel PMD trouble
Did the dealer finally relocate it or did you have to? From my reading it seems that if you just replace the PMD and don't relocate it that it tends to fail again very quickly. I guess that would be fine if I were to trade the truck as soon as it was...
RE: Re: RE: 6.5L Turbo Diesel PMD trouble
My truck only has abut 40,000 miles on it. I think the warranty is 12 years and over 100,000 miles. I think I will call the service dept tomorrow and see what they say. I can't believe I have had the truck this long and didn't know about this...
I heard a rumor that the Mississippi national guard is turning in their M35s also. Makes me wonder how they are going to buy enough new trucks to replace them all.
I was leaning towards the Heath as the best. It is also one of the more expensive. Here is their link.

Here is the cheapest solution I found, but it doesn't relocate it...
I think my PMD on my 98 GMC pickup has gone bad. I have been reading on the net for a while now and have decided I need one of the relocation units advertised. Anyone here know about the problem and tried any of the after market kits?
also, does anyone have a link to the main diesel pickup forum?
It is the B/Q stuff that they are blocking the closing price on. I just noticed that the trucks I bid on yesterday and did not win are not on my bid history page. The tarps that were not B/Q are. So it seems the trick we discussed last week of placing a bid at midnight when the sale opens...
RE: Re: RE: Overheating for the third time
The truck didn't have much fuel in it so we stopped for fuel just off base and put $100 and a qt of fuel conditioner/cleaner in it right off the bat. I did forget the e brake and leave it on for the first leg on the interstate but releasing it had...
I think he just poured about a half gallon of water in it. I now think the gage is working because it was so much hotter than the other truck. or is 20 degrees really that much different?
