Gary, I have the same issue. I just figured it was due to little use of the TC with the auto transmission. I use the TC in my A2 often and it shifts easily.
What I am saying is the bolts on the bumper extensions may have damaged threads. On the one I did almost all the bolts were damaged. Your luck may vary of course.
Keep in mind it will not be all profit. There are maybe 20 some bolts and they often are not usable after they are removed. You may have to replace them all, if not half of them.

Knife or razor blade. Two of us have had the deteriorating foam in the top get so bad that driving was dangerous. Had to rip the inner liner and foam out at a rest stop.

I picked up mine, aired all the tires with the glad hand. Took one hour (10 minutes per tire). Every once in a while the CTIS will dump a tire overnight, but if I air it up the next day or so it will stay. Go figure.
Seems a little long. Drain some fuel out of the primary fuel filter, change the filters if you have spares, but most of all before you start turn on the switch and open the fuel tank. Should hear the in-tank pump operating and some fuel returning to the tank.
