Hmmm.. I will only comment on the Michigan MVPA. Our goal is to be (active) in the MV world, premote the hobby through public interaction and education, honor and assist veterans, and save and teach our military history in all its forms. I know of only 4 major groups in the State Michigan MVPA...

Looks like a US Airforce truck. Appears to be Strata Blue on the frame. The Canadian trucks have the serial number on the frame dog up near the bumper not that far back near the steering box like the US trucks. It is a DeSoto motor but could be smaller displacement like a 237 or so. That does...

Something that I have ran into with southern warm weather vehicles and dry desert vehicles is once you take them to the great white north anything rubber tends to go to heck. Things brake, get cold and crack and do not adjust well to the cold. Especially -8! lol.. That truck looks like it came...

OK now with more pictures its definitely worth saving. The winch and PTO off that truck are worth $500 to $1000. $1500 would be fair for it IMO. Looks complete and not to rusty but hard to be sure the pictures are not that great. You could pull the rear drive shafts and pay a wrecker to haul it. Is it far from you? I would agree don't tow bar it. Worth about $500 and worth saving for sure..
