    Moving my Transmission cooler

My truck bypassed the rear cooler (unloaded ) and never got hot. Now that it is plumbed in, still don’t have the fan hooked up in the new location. Just a reference point. I am sure weight is the deciding factor here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Huck bolt removal tool

I also kind of remember slicing vertically through the tip of the bolt until I got to the frame. That obviously took a long time, but it eventually popped loose. I was doing this away from shore power…. So had to use my cordless grinder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Huck bolt removal tool

I have been cutting through the nut right where the smooth and hex meet using a cut off wheel….. not all the way through….. then smacking it with a mini sledge…. Pops right off. The bolt tip stays in the nut. You could just cut further until the bolt pops, but I had some that even the smallest...

    make retainer cables

Crazy thing…. The local bolt shop was bought out by Fastserve, now they cost more than McMaster…. Even Grainger is way more locally. Never thought McMaster would become my cheap option. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hooking LMTV to shop air for CTIS troubleshooting

Any issue with shop air not going through your truck air dryer? My compressor does ok, but when using a lot of air (painting), I eventually get some water droplets. I will eventually upgrade the drying part once I plumb it into my shop. So far, my truck dryer works great….. never any water...

    Headliner fabrics.

All, What are you using? Where did you get it? Is it DOT approved? Fire rated? Does it need to be? I am about to make my panels…. Need to finalize the material. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Led Strobes

All of the strobes I bought are amber. In Texas, I see amber, blue, and white on construction trucks, but amber is by far the most prevalent. I know from my drivers Ed way back when that red cannot face forward and blue should be a no-go, white should not face backwards…. So I think amber on...

    Alternative hydraulic hand pump.

Ok, Woke up more…. Looked it up. Pump is rated for 3500psi, so lever length must be a work force issue. The added weight to my cab percentage wise should not be that big of a deal. @Ronmar what are you using for your cab air valve? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Alternative hydraulic hand pump.

@Ronmar How are you liking this setup? I am tempted to do this myself and delete the manifold all together. My cab is a bit heavier than stock. Probably 600lb more. Once fully finished…. Maybe more. Your post above implies that for heavier lifts, you just need a longer lever arm. Is that...

    Led Strobes

Placement question. I was planning on 4 on the front and 4 on the back with two on each side. Two “low” on the front, back, and sides (about 60” off the ground). Then two on the top front and back. I am a little concerned that the two on the top front (above the windshield) will just...

Bought the Grotes! Thanks! I think they will look good and work well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Led Strobes

All, Looking to add some LED strobes to the truck…. Like the construction trucks use (not a light bar, the small packs in the grill and tailgates). Anyone have a quality, but affordable option? I found lots of cheap Chinese ones, but do t want to waste time on ones that won’t last...

    Electrical Gremlis:

Buy one that lives in your truck. Preferably with a backlight. And get some alligator clips. That is what I wave in my tool kit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
