New Dash Layout in the works……

I plan to keep an active CTIS, so I could tap off of it for air pressure.

New Dash Layout in the works……

Motor temp is already there. Indoor/outdoor does not have to be a gauge…. They make displays. Sounds like your vote is EGT.

New Dash Layout in the works……

All, Does anyone have any opinions on what other gauges they would add of any? I have 1-2 open depending on if I add a second fuel gauge. That is still a remaining question. I am contemplating a CTIS pressure gauge, EGT, transmission temp, indoor/outdoor temperature, charging amps….. can...

New Dash Layout in the works……

Well, 3 hours with a burr bit on my dremel and it all fits. The CNC plasma table cut almost exactly 0.02 too little on all edges. One of my switches is for a transfer pump. The bottom center gauge is almost useless. I can see it, but not very well. All others are great.

New Dash Layout in the works……

Also, the buzzer will be zip tied behind the dash. I have not figured outwhere to put the dimmer, but I may just short it at Maximum.

New Dash Layout in the works……

thanks all! unfortunately the CNC plasma table was not perfect, so I will be filing every hole to make it all fit. I was close, but Murphy bit me. I am still trying to decide what two gauges I plan to add. I had planned on an extra fuel gauge for a secondary tank and maybe an EGT or...

New Dash Layout in the works……

Added two gauge locations. I have not decided on the final additions…. Feel free to make suggestions. I need to drill a few holes for the indicator panel and light switches, but you get the idea. Bottom right are for cruise control. Next tree up are for my winch control (no more view...

    Grey Tank fittings?

I am leaning towards just putting in a port hole and using threaded bulkhead fittings. At least then I know it is going to be strong.

    Third's Build Discussion

I hope I am not too late….. Your strainer near the pump needs to go on the suction side of the pump. It is there to protect the pump and everything down stream. Progress looks good. Keep up the good work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Grey Tank fittings?

So the tank that fits the best has no fittings. I can use these: 1 1/2" UNISEAL Flexible Tank Adapter (Bulkhead) - 2 Pack https://a.co/d/fO0kADS I can try to plastic weld in bungs (I have not found any hdpe bungs yet, might have to make them). or I can put in an access cover and put in...

Is there a consensus of which insulation for cab ceilings is best bang for the buck?

Ok resurrecting this thread. I am about to start insulating the inside of the cab. I have the doghouse done with hood liner. I plan to use KillMat on the sheet metal. I also have some Noico red….not enough for all areas. Anyone have a suggestion for a filler insulation to go between the...

    Headliner fabrics.

I am almost done with cutting my plywood. What glue do you recommend. I saw Chucky listed a glue. Any other suggestions? Did anyone paint or treat the plywood? I am using 1/4 ply. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Habitat Flooring

For point of reference….. I plan on doing hydronic underfloor eating for the entire bottom with vinyl snap together “wood” planks across the entire thing. By heating everything, you don’t get cold spots that can condense water or get moldy. One thing to keep in mind…. Your floor may be...

    Adding Cruise Control to C7

There is a way to wire cruise with just switches, but Berends kit is much cleaner. With switches, your ECM needs to be programmed to run cruise. I am not sure about Berends kit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

@Ronmar I copied part of your design. I have enroute everything but the selector valve. I only plan to have the cab on hydraulics. The tire is moving. Thanks for sharing your designs and making videos! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
