All, I would like to collect a bunch of pictures and examples of things that you have done to make your FMTV more comfortable.
Example: seats, gears, tint, sound dampening, HVAC, etc.
Please post pics and maybe a link to your build showing how you have made your truck more comfortable...
So basically, if mode is not set, then having lockers will not do much of anything. But having either, or both rear axles with a locker will be active once mode is set. Is that correct?
Would your truck behave if they were still open diffs?
Have you driven in ice or snow with the...
That sounds like your auto locker would act more like a selectable one then...... you would just drag it around until you select mode.

Coachgeo,
I appreciate your help.
I do understand the setup of the existing power diverter box. What I am inquiring about is that if I was considering to add Detroit Lockers to the rear axles, should I only install one (and where), or consider installing two?
I drive a 4x4 daily with...

Justin,
Just read through your entire thread. Can you please provide the model number and where you bought your seats from?
Did you ever get you new axles?
Thanks.

What if you have a slow tire leak? Wouldn't leaving the pressure in the line keep the system filling the...
Do the cab air springs need to be changed at all with the added cab weight, or do they take the added pressure?
Thanks

I have the file in solidworks. I wish I had the native file. I cannot edit the downloaded version without some effort.
I have converted the model to resemble a 1083 without the bed and no real dimensions to compare to a real truck. The model was very helpful to start with. Thanks for...
So, I have seen those specs. How did you derive your number? The wheel base dimension is between the two rear axles. The over all length extends past the rear tires. I did not see a combination of dimensions to get me that result.
