I wonder why my 8 GP's only draw 100 amps?
They are AC60G plugs.
The first picture is 2 plugs, the second picture is 4 plugs. Full scale is 50 amps. These readings were taken from a truck that is not using the resistor. These readings were taken with the GP system is being powered from the...
Seems like the card is working properly with the temperature sensor disconnected. If possible measure the resistance of the temperature sensor when it is cold and again when it is hot. It should have a high resistance (around 3000 ohms) when cold and low resistance (around 250 ohms) when hot...
The glow plugs can stay on for as long as 45 seconds after the engine is started. By disconnecting the temp sensor you have a high resistance to the GP card in a cold condition. Plugging the temp sensor back in gave the GP card a lower resistance and it turned the relay off as it should. The GP...
Tony, Can you verify that all all of the Orange wires connected to the glow plug side of the relay?
Also, try disconnecting the temperature sensor and see if the issue still happens.
The wait light staying on until the high idle drops is really odd. It's possible that the wiring has been...
Check all the battery connections and the wires themselves may be suspect.
This thread may help find a bad connection.

I asked a judge about the cargo restriction and PA Antique vehicles. His interpretation of cargo was that it implies being paid to transport the objects or materials.
Cargo is also defined as freight, freight implies being paid to transport materials and goods. Splitting hairs here with the PA...
Gravity feed the fuel pump to see if it is working properly.
If it is, you should be able to bleed the air at the fuel filter and the truck should run. This means you have no fuel getting to the lift pump.
If you can not get fuel out of the filter, your lift pump is bad.
You may have more...
Thanks for the kind words.
Unfortunately all of the GP cards with the additional heat option have been sold. It was a limited production run and most likely will not be offered again.

I had a M1009 that had a similar issue. I finally found the drain plug on the bottom of the fuel filter base was not completely tight.
After tightening it the stalling issue never happened again.
Here is the resistance chart for the glow plug sensor. Measure it without the wires connected.
The high idle sensor is a switch, it is either open or closed.

The resistor is located behind the air cleaner on the fire wall.
This thread will help you locate it and do the bypass.

You may want to consider this modification to the firewall mounted 24 volt bus bar to get a good 12 volt connection point. It's not hard to do and is reversible.

If properly done, this...
The wait light should always have +12 volts on it from the fuse box, the ground for the light comes from the GP controller to turn the light on and off.
Check the dark Blue wire that comes out of the GP card connector to see if it has rubbed thru anywhere and is now connecting to ground.
If...
