Buy a cheapo oil pump, one that the shaft will fit in a drill. (I suspect you have a 1/2 chuck drill) Weld on a black iron pipe fitting to the output port. Plumb that up to the port with a hyd hose or whatever you have. Drop the pickup into a pan of oil and hold it and turn the drill on...
There's plenty of things to be aware of here with chemicals. Heck even the paint on our trucks is a carcinogen if ground/sanded/exc. But one thing people might not think of is all the welding we do here. It's nice to clean up metal surfaces before welding to ensure a good weld with no flaws...
No question about it, mine is just for play. But if you're going to really be working it day in and day out, the M920 platform is a better start. The SEMTT can do 72mph according to the GPS speedo. But the 250 is screaming along at 2350rpm. I cruise at about 60mph and 1900rpm. (At least...
If you removed a substantial number, yes. But I'm talking about the top overload spring, and a few of the bottom leaves that are really there more for spacing.
68mph, 5th gear in mine at 2650rpm. On 395's of course. In my deuce.
The SEMTT can do 72mph at 2350rpm. All GPS verified on a closed course by a professional driver....
I still gotta play around with the buttons to see where I wanna get it at for power. I also need to run through the injectors and valves for good measure. Once the bags are done, I'll tinker with the AC. Then touch up the paint on the crane. Then I think it'll be done.
I actually plan on taking leaves out of the pack. The pack will be there to locate the axle and prevent wrap, but the bags will "tune" the ride. It's only about $300 in parts. If it doesn't work like I hope, I can probably figure out something else to do with the bags. Then I'll just pull...
So this weekend I did get the boot corrected. But since I'm on call, I didn't drive it. Maybe this afternoon I'll sneak out for a drive. I also sourced all the parts needed for my airbag front suspension experiment. Well, except I need some bar stock.

It's fixed. Sorry but work, kid's football, and Halloween have been on the plate today for me. Hopefully I'll get to addressing the fact I still haven't taken the wife out for our Anniversary that was Tuesday.
The transmission remained in place on my truck. But I ended up having to put the studs and bolts into the PTO while installing it in place. It's not fun at all.
