    Windshield rubber m1031

Just did one a few weeks ago in my sons 1009...that lip tucks into itself. I used a fat pick since that tool doesn't work for those...used glass cleaner as a lube then went around with the pick and it tucked in easy. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

    MEP-803 exhaust extension

Yeah you don't want that hitting the case. Gotta be independent. Have spring supports for that too. Pretty heavy. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

    M1009… No Headlights HELP

Ok that says a ton! The ground on the plug is bolted right above the headlight but on the engine side just under the hood. The drivers side should be bolted to where the coolant res is...passenger side is right in front of the front battery. That ground goes right to that plug. Probably what...

Batteries, Charging, and using a Winch question.

Sounds like you have a bad battery, alternator or both. Why not get a 24 volt winch? You gotta remember that the alternator max output is only 100 amps not at idle with 12 volts. Not much. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

    CUCVRUS Repair Projects

I know a guy that has a ton of the oem starter bolts...you know one of those guys lol. I didn't know you can buy the bolt that goes in the block new still. Funny story as tonight my sons 1009 started making a tinny rattle noise. He poked under the truck and found the bracket there but no bolt...

I have no idea!! They must have needed relays for something but the way they did it doesn't make sense. Either way follow the fat wire on the bottom of the relay and see where it goes...could be capped off. Probably just remove it then. It looks to be feeding 24 volt to something. Sent from my...

Pictures look great!! So to start under the hood it looks like there is 2 relays hooked up mounted to the rear battery. No idea what they have hooked to that but if there are no big wires running out I'd guess some sort of plow possibly. I don't think you need those but more pics so I can...

    M1008 lower radiator hose

It is a standard chevy pickup...problem is you gotta tell them it is a J code engine not the C code. It is still a stock GM engine but without the emissions. NON egr. I think the Dayco number is D71145.

    M1008 external trans cooler

There are several Hayden trans coolers that have a built in thermostat that if the fluid is not up to temp it bypasses the cooler and sends it back. Chances are since you are plowing in one of the coldest places on the planet you'll never need it and would go in constant bypass. You have a...

    The Mule Rides Again

We did the LMC tank and sender. Fits great. You could use the Suburban tank but the shield won't fit...you may get away with making 6 spacers to drop it lower though. Just pop a jerry can in the left rear spot. There's a good mount for it. The filler neck that bolts to the truck is still...

    The Mule Rides Again

I think it's the suburban tank...it sits lower so you can't use the stock steel shield.

    The Mule Rides Again

My son replaced the rear floor pan in his. He saved the crossmembers then panel bonded all 3 pieces in. Clamped tight for a day and it's done! Got the panels from lmc. There's some trimming to fit perfect but not to much. Definitely worth it vs a few patches. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk

Oh the days of the first miles owning a truck with no idea what's been done to it!! Welcome to the club and know it probably won't be your last one you have. The sizzling noise kinda sounds like the glow plug relay goin nuts. Pretty common...makes a really fast clicking noise sounds like it...

    What's that odd light

Looks to be in great shape! Most of mine the bulb socket was rusted out. It's purpose is the front headlight when you're using the blackout lights. It's gotta be extremely cloudy and dark out to see it without nods...but with a basic pv7 its ok light. You may have 2 in each bumper as well if...
