You are correct Mike, the tag said 2.5 ton and 5 ton so I'd assume they meant the early 5 tons that used the same cab. I know it will fit mine, not sure if they made different styles of hardtop or not. Curious to know. I'll grab a pic of the tag....it is cool to know the build date and such.

Just found that my passenger side boot is split from axle to knuckle so I'm jumping in this boat as well. I want to do one piece boots as well so any info as to the better supplier/ manufacturer to deal with would be appreciated.

Thanks Mike, it is coming along well. The tank is no biggie. Going to get a good take out from kublo's for 80.00. Then I'm going to do a por-15 tank seal on it just as a precaution going forward. It is getting there. Next thing it to strip and prime the hardtop.
