Joe, Good looking Gen. and trailer.
That is the setup I was looking for, but I got a MEP-005a then got a M353 trailer to put it on.
I could not get the Gen. to start so I am having the IP Pump and injectors rebuilt.
Good luck with yours!!!
I think you could replace them to put grease in and then put the Allen's back in.
If you leave the Allen's I think it would cut the boots when you turn.
Just my thinking.
The bottom and top grease zerks are for greasing the king pins.
To grease the ball part of the axle you need to remove the Allen screws in it and pump it in that way.
The LO page above shows it as "L"
I have the one for the long airpack book marked but I could not find one for the short airpack. That is why I asked for some pics on how people did it with the short airpack.
I think I saw some at TNJ and Saturn surplus.

Phil2968 and sandcobra164, Do you have any pics of what you did to the L pipe on the short airpack?
I did the mod on a long airpack but I have not tried to do a short air pack. But I have a truck I need to
do it to.
Thanks,
Here is the one I use. It is made by Battery tender and will do 2 12v batteries at on time. $84 on Amazon and free shipping.

Here is my thread on towing a Deuce with a Deuce. I towed one about 300 miles and it was a slow work out.
If you have any hills you will slow down a a lot. You can tow it ok on the flat roads and go a safe 40-45mph.
Turing on pavement is ok but on dirt or gravel it will not want to turn with...
I got the Pump pulled, but I could not figure how to get the pump shaft off of the timing/drive pulley.
FYI, I took the pump in and the shop does not need the shaft to rebuild it. They have shafts to use for testing.
I got the cover off the pump and it looked like old diesel in it.
I cleaned it the best I could, all the parts looked liked they were moving ok but still no fuel to the injectors.
I guess the only thing left is to take it to get rebuilt.
Any ideas?
Well I got my Trox tamper-poof bits today fro the top of the IP pump cover. But I did not notice last week that the bolts are 5 point and Trox are 6 point. Have to get more bits now.
