Are you talking about the REAR winch off a 920 or the front winch off a 900 5t, these are two totally different winches. the 900 5t is the same as the winch on the 809s but hyd. drive, the winch off the 920 is a really big winch.

This is the FIRST pipeline truck that I have seen other then pics, that had the sides on the bed, eather no sides or a fully restored unit is what is most often seen

check that boom REAL close, the lacing, cord, next time place the fork lift UNDER the boom, right behind the boom tip, it willl balance a lot better, NEVER stab though a crane boom

Get a m819 (tractor/wrecker) mount a 900 5t hyd. drive winch in the frame UNDER the fifth wheel, you will have the best of both worlds, longer frame helps it tow better, longer boom (26') and can pull a NICE long neck lowbed like a old 35t/50t lacross
