May not need to be balanced, but I would, why not, having a shaft built, might as well get it balanced, I'd want the best shaft I can get

I would go withHEAVIER u-joints and shaft, so when things give, the shear pin gives, that shaft is to close to the pan to take a chance on busting a hole, this would be a BAD day

Somebody needs to get PATRACYs m55, lwb 5t, this truck should have a double frame, pull the bed, install a K-boom behind the cab, then a standard 5t drop side, or with a little work to the frame, a deuce dropside , would make a super nice 5t crane truck, it would be almost like a OM CANADIAN 5t...

for stock single wheels, put on the wheel then use FRONT lug nuts, the way it is now, the rims will flex and crack, check and make sure the front are not out from the hub like the rears sorry, read this as non-stock rims on now, so i fixed things

you can find a nice truck in the classified for 3500, that truck sure is not worth 3500 for a non driver (brakes)
