    anybody ever see a M936 wrecker body - put on a M920 truck ?

    you would loose the front recovery winch, also is the 920 frame double,triple, and spring lockouts would be needed for the rear suspension so it take the working load when not on out riggers

    5 ton wrecker

    AS I said in the other thread, the truck chassis IS NOT a wrecker chassis, wrong suspension , and if this is wrong, I would bet the frame is not doubled/tripled, so with that said, I would look for CRACKS in the frame MODS, could you please combine both of these threads---

    if gear oil which it looks like then seals, before you do anything, check the axle vents, make sure thay are not pluged

    Brake bleeding doesn't seem to be going as planned

    clean a bleeder, then remove a bleeder from a wc, clean the build up in the hole, install the clean bleeder, do this on each wheel, don't forget the mc and the air pack

    Rolling tailboard and rear winch

    the problem with a winch mounted in front of the bed, is that a lot of space is lost due to the winch, a under frame cable run with a front bed sheave solves this problem.

    Other power sources for sprocket-powered winch - am I missing anything?

    Hyd. power though the ps pump wont have enough VOLUME, a stand a lone power (hyd) source, with some long quick connect hoses would be a neet set up, build the winch, power source on a set of small skids would be another option, this would give a totaly stand a-lone winch
