The spring hangers from a deuce front end are under the frame and are the same spring size/width as the M105 I believe.
I need additional M105 hangers and springs if you end up with some surplus.
FYI, here is an M105 frame with bolster wheels and one with duals mounted. The duals are 2"...
A really good purchase to make with that dump truck is a new tailgate at Oshkosh (since you are going to be in the area). They have them listed for 299 on fleebay....a really good buy for the 817 you bought. Shipping is a killer on them so consider it when you are up there. Love the 817s.
Installed this seat and box in my 817. Made the seat base (rigid) and significantly modified a box I got on ebay.
My M35A3 gets two of those seats. I'm still looking for the springer seat base for the passenger side and will make another console box again too.
I miss the days of buying the 105's just to get the tires (with nubs) and wheels to put new shoes (NDCC) on my F600 4x4 boomtruck. (bought 4). I had some 11.00 to replace them with and sold the 105's at a small profit. Man they were nice.
You guys have seen the 105 bed with Dexter...
I bought an A2 model recently for $425, which has the new style landing leg jack.
Biggest bang for the buck would be paint in my opinion. Use some red rust primer in those corners and make the whole thing green 383 (brush or roller). You don't know what it will hook to, so buying lights and...
Haven't read the TM but a preload would be like installing one end and tightening it down in say it's top position and then forcing it down to hook to the axle, where the rubber spring would be putting continuous torque, trying to return it to a neutral position. It makes sense, but I wonder...
I wouldn't have thought about using the 2 1/2" if I had not seen some of the plug in tongue's, nice and heavy, at a surplus place for only $20. Then I noticed how the 2" fit nicely inside of the 2 1/2", with pin holes aligning and everything. Thus the 2 1/2" would fit that size receiver or the...
Nice and heavy. I hope the receiver is thick too, the one on my pickup is getting loose from use.
My M35 gets one too but I may go with the 2 1/2" (I think class V) or mount both sizes. I use 2 5/16" ball on everything, even my little Ford ranger rear clip that has my portable welder has a...
I bought the steel frame reinforcement for my M35A3 4x4 project and located the spare tire carrier angle iron that can support the roll over protection (ROP). I bought 1/4" flat plate formed into an 11"x3"x10' L that will lap to the side of the frame just behind the cab and extend back 10' with...
It looks like the camper worked pretty well.
I have a similar project with an 1101 that I have cut to fit the S-788 (trailer had bent front and corners). I have about 4" from bed to the bottom for storage of poles, making it rather high. I may have to consider lowering it and regular...
I bought steel for my truck frame today that will lap the side of the existing frame and stick down 3" beyond. I didn't want to go 5". It is 1/4" plate with a 90* L shape, 11" x 3" x 10'0". It laps a full 8" on the OE frame, from the back of the cab back 10'.
I'm not mounting the above...
Sorry, this is an old thread but came up high on the search. Unfortunately Doghead's links don't work and the OP never comes up with part numbers. Myself, I have 2 rims with 12 bolts and the very small o-ring, I believe is 3/16".
The #384 Buna N 70 duro o-ring came and it is too big. I'm...
